For all of you at home, I just ate at the Crab Pot for the meet & eat. I sat across the table from Boomer and next to Timitius. Hugo Solis and N'wah were also at the same table. The creative talent of these people is astounding. Looking forward to meeting more cool folks.
Thanks for the updates for us poor homebodies.
Did you get your hard copy for #25?
Keep the updates comin', kikai13!

I just left Zuxius' room, where there was some great conversationalizing, and I just drank the best dark lager I have ever tasted. This is the kind of experience that everyone on these boards deserves to have at some time in their lives. Thanks to Zuxius--I owe you one, buddy.
This is as close as I'm likely to get to the experience; so thank you, kikai13, for keeping us updated.
Was Zuxius wearing the awesome pathfinderchronicler shirt he designed, or is he saving it for the week-end?
Since official events aren't scheduled until noon, how will you early attendees spend the morning?
For now, sleep.

Hugo just posted pics of that on Facebook, looked like a lot of fun!
By the way, as a semi-clueless Twitter person, where am I going to see those?

I am sure a number of us Paizo folk will be twittering, posting to facebook, and posting to our personal blogs throughout the show....

Ayup, he was wearing the shirt. It was pretty cool.
For now, reading up on the scenario I'm running and getting some breakfast.

Following the Meet-and-Eat festivities last night, I crashed back at my room while several others attended the After-the-Meet-and-Eat party down the hall with Zuxius. Nothing raucous, but I assume all went well.
Funny story about the Meet-and-Eat. Jason Nelson gave me, Boomer, and Boomer's lovely lady Emily a ride to the Crab Pot. When we got there, Jason realized no one had nametags so it would be difficult for folks to know who was who. So, he and I made a quick run to the local Rite Aid for some "Hello, My Name Is..." nametags for everyone.
By the time we got back, Timitius had arrived in our absence with plenty of nametags to go around. In fact, it looked like everyone already had one on. But I'm proud to say I stuck with the nametag we'd bought at the Rite Aid. Or rather...it stuck with me.

Interestingly enough, all of those pictures appear to have been taken while Jason and I were out on our nametag run. :-[
We were seated at Table 3 when we got back, across from Zuxius and Gavgoyle. And next to Larcifer, Russ Taylor, and Rob McCreary. Later, Boomer came over from Table 1 to join us for a bit, too. Nice to meet all you guys!

It was a fun get-together even for the oddballs like me who don't drink. Thanks to Ted/Zuxius for the hospitality and to everybody for being genuinely cool cats.
Of course, I had to take off on the early side (11:15) cuz unlike all you vacationers we locals still got work to do! Only a half day, tho, and then I'm off to Unspeakable Futures!

Ah, but we had a grand ADVENTURE through the labyrinthine backways and byways of barbaric Bellevue! And THAT is what PaizoCon is really all about!

Huzzah! Indeed we did my friend. And though fate conspired to put the challenge of the dreaded foes of Barnes and his nobles in our way, we did find the trusted "aid" of "rite" good allies...enabling us to win our way to the fabled treasure. So we still have a grand tale to tell. Despite the fact that devious rogue, Timitius, somehow arrived with a cheap replica already in hand. ;-D

Yep, fanzine is awesome. I was able to stop by the Con for a few minutes on my lunch break to pick it up.
It looked as though everyone was having a good time, with the possible exception of Sean K. Reynolds. I think I heard an announcement that Sean and his vehicle were ambushed by some malicious off-road shrubbery en route to the hotel. He and his vehicle are fine, having defeated the challenge with minimal expenditure of party resources, though they were delayed a bit while waiting for a tow. Hopefully that all got sorted out and things are now running smoothly for everyone.

Sorry, I can't do much about the pictures. However, I just played in Before Nightfall with F. Wesley Schneider and it was AWESOME! Ustalav is great, and when this adventure finally comes out everyone reading this should run out and buy it right away. You'll be doing yourselves a favor. This one is going to be seriously great.
Wes is really cool, and I would give almost anything to be in a weekly game that he runs.
I'm thinking that Paizocon 2010 should be, like, three to four weeks long. This weekend is going way too fast.

Had to leave early... acursed work! Con is a blast! Got to meet Jason Bulman and got my Pathfinder campaign setting book signed by a good part of the Paizo staff, shared fries with Hugo, Gamed with Nethis, Met Ask a Shoanti (Nice guy!) and got eaten by some leaches in a society game! All told a heck of a day, cant wait for tomorrow!
Save up some cash and vacation time for 2010! Itll be worth it!

Just got done playing my first game here with Hugo GMing. It was a great yet frustrating game!
Not my fault! The adventure is made FRUSTRATING!!!!
Also That was my first PFS EVER and sorry that I was totally unprepared for it...thank Gosh I got the coolest players ever!!!
Now my fanzine is signed by MOST paizo staff (I think I'm missing Cosmo and Bulman...)
I hope Daigle shows up soon...

There were surprisingly few Chelaxians at the Grand Convocation. Come on, Cheliax! Represent!
I missed all of the side quests as I was trying to pull together a group of four (!) Chelaxians. Finally, we found four. Just four. In the whole room. Four. I thought about attempting to enslave a few Andorans just to have enough to make a party.
I did survive to the second round of the Grand Melee, however. More glory to Asmodeus.

I saw Daigle, he made it. Not sure where he was headed.
The mod in question was potentially very fatal for low level parties -- especially those made up of brand new 1st level PFS characters. I ran it for the high level group and they handled the challenges they were presented pretty well.
I agree the players here are awesome and everyone has been super cool. This community rocks.
