What's Your 4?

While we're waiting for the lottery results... what events did you decide were worthy of a "4"?

Satisfy curious minds and procrastinate at the same time! :-)

Mine were:
Friday: PFS Interactive
Saturday: Cursed Lot: New Beginnings
Sunday: PFS Open Call Workshop

Pathfinder Adventure Path, Rulebook Subscriber

I haven't played in a Pathfinder Society event yet, so I put the two Tier 1 modules up there. Also, I played in Cursed Lot last year and would be happy to reprise my role as Eros.

I'm running a couple of things so couldn't cross the streams, so to say, but for my free time I know I put a 4 on YETISBURG and I think I put 4's on Nightfall and the Spire of Nex (yes, both at the same time, but perhaps I'll get one or neither).

The Exchange

4: Short Fiction Writer's Workshop

That's it. No other 4's for me.

The Exchange

My fours

Friday: Under a Red Sky
Saturday: A Midsummer Night's Comedy of the Merry Jackanapes & Orcs
Sunday: PFS Open Call Workshop

Sunday, Im not too worried about. Im helping out with the interactive so I will be attending that of Friday, and the Banquet on Saturday. So even if I dont get my 4's it should still be a great time.

Any and all events that were being run with the final PFRPG rules.

Sovereign Court

Friday:
Before Nightfall
Creeps of the Borderland (Just love the concept of Keep on the Borderlands from the critters perspective)
Return to Chinatown (Big Trouble In Little China? Are you KIDDING me??)

Saturday:
Low Tier PFS scenarios (never played a PFSS)
How To Break Into Kobold Quarterly
Designing Dungeons with Monte Cook

Sunday:
Maps with Sean Reynolds
Self-Editing with Sue Cook

Dark Archive

Before Nightfall. I write horror fiction, and this game would be amazing for me. Still willing to offer bribes, if that's what it takes to get into this game....

Silver Crusade

Lilith's Big Trouble game and the Monte Cook game. He's my hero.

I'm giddy to see that some of my games are on people's must play list. ^_^

I'm running a bunch, I fear, so not many choices. Wound up 4'ing James' game on Saturday (tough call between that and Cursed Lot) and the design for contributors workshop on Sunday.

My '4' is sleep and it starts around midnight every night. ;-)

Seriously, though, I wish I could play in a LOT of these games.

Sovereign Court

1. Monte's Game
2. Greg Vaughan's Slumbering Tsar
3. Greg Vaughan's Slumbering Tsar (I 4'd it twice!)

Dang, didn't get Return to Chinatown. Guess I'll just have to live with only watching Big Trouble In Little China eleventy billion more times. The worst thing though is no Lilith cookies for me. :(

I would love to hear about the game from anyone who plays it though.

EDIT: Anyone who models an adventure after Big Trouble has not only great taste in film, but a dang good head on their shoulders as well. Hope to meet you at the Con Lilith; I'll trade you a beer for a cookie. :)

*sigh* No 4's for me. Maybe next time.

Return to Chinatown was a '4' for me too, and I didn't get in. *sigh* Maybe next year.

Likewise about the beer-for-cookie offer.

I didn't get my Lilith 4's, but I did snag James' Saturday Sandpoint game! Hurrah!

Drat. Looks like my gaming schedule just opened up. I didn't snag a single game in the lottery...and I signed up for just about all of them with a few marked as 4's...but no dice.

On the happier side of things, looks like I picked up a lot of the seminars I was interested in...

I had Wes's game, Erik's game, and James's Sandpoint game marked as 4's along with the PFS submission workshop and got none of them.

Events you ranked with a 4 for the lottery (indicating an event you really want to attend).

Unless, of course you were being sarcastic in the question indicating you got no 4 events, in which case, you have my sympathies.

Sovereign Court

Okay, I can't complain too much because I did get into a couple of games AND most of the seminars I wanted...but I want to know:

Who got into the PFS Open Call workshop, and what denomination bribe would you consider??? ;-)

These weren't ALL actual 4's (3's also included),
but I DID get into Lilith's Chinatown game,
Hugo's Merry Jacknapes, AND Dario's Forge of the Living End.
Sounds like a pretty damn good schedule to me!

...Yet the Slumbering Tsar still gnaws at my dreams... :-)

I was a big dummy and thought Sunday would be a "down" day, so I made my plans to return on Sunday. As much as I wanted to get into the Open Call Workshop, it wasn't worth $200 to move my flight. Oh well, I probably wouldn't have gotten in anyway.

Sorry you didn't get in. I figured that was one you absolutely wanted to get into.

Lucky! Don't forget us poor folks who didn't get in and tell us all about it. And if Lilith doesn't go for the beer-for-cookie trade, don't tell me how good the cookies were ... it would be just too painful. ;)

Could we, maybe, "audit" the game? :)

Fray has been trying to bribe me into running a game during an "open" time period, but I'd have to check my schedule again. :P

What kind of bribes are you taking? I'll gladly pitch in.

Hm, Perhaps given the theme of the game,

Lilith might allow my character to "hear spirit voices" some of which you could portray... :-)

Or let them play some of the NPCs/critter beasties. ;)

This worked out to great fun at FateCon last summer. Karelzarath and myself got to play the NPCs that nearly killed the whole party. Fatey of course played the BBEG and a couple other minions/crew.

I think it'd be a blast! Especially the nature of the game.

Thanks for the sentiment! You're right -- it was the one event I was most hoping to get into. I'd say that I would trade an arm or a leg to get in, but it's hard enough to keep up with my toddler as it is ;-).

Sorry to hear you'll be missing Sunday events! But I'm glad you're making it out to the Northwest for PaizoCon. Are you going to the Meet and Eat on Thursday night?

That's another regret of mine as far as scheduling my trip. My flight doesn't arrive until 8. By the time I get to the hotel, I expect the party will have moved there. :)

Next year I won't try to preserve so much vacation. My family can go to Universal Studios without me.

At any rate, I suspect I'll run into you sometime during the convention.
