[unofficial] What do you want spoiled on

General Discussion (Prerelease)

I put the unofficial tag in there so no one will think it's a question from a Paizo-person. Hubris? Maybe.

Anyway, what sections do you want to see leaked?

For me it's the skills. I'm likely going to make my own skills/skill bundling and I want to see what was finally decided on for defensive casting, since Jason hates concentration.

Sovereign Court

What was changed with the Sword/Shield and two-handed weapon feat build?

Liberty's Edge

As a fan of Rangers, I would LOVE to see the final Ranger class, as well as the animal companions rules (I'm hoping they are pretty close to the revised rules Jason posted in the Beta Playtest Design forums).

I'd also like to see the final Rogue class ...

1) What has been done to make high-level play better.
2) Are wizard schools/cleric domains the same as in PF Beta?
3) Has Gate/Planar Binding been changed?
4) Has grappling been improved/clarified?

classes, artwork, something shiny

- Mainly paladins, cuz it was hinted that there would be something new for them "under the tree"....and im playing one ;)

I cannot say what I would like to see if I don't know what has changed. Therefore, I suggest it should start with the biggest changes (in terms of wording) from the Beta + SRD ruleset and work their way down to the smaller stuff.

I'd like to know if Touch AC and normal attack modifiers were ever unified with CMB, because I loved that system during the playtest.

Although if I have to pick one thing of little or no consequence as the perfect "spoiler" to start us off:

Hand of the Apprentice. Or whatever is replacing it.

You want to impress me Paizo? You can start by showing me that Universalist Wizard isn't the only sane choice anymore.

Hmmm ... what would I like to see? YES :)

RPG Superstar 2009 Top 32

Err ... nothing?

August really isn't that far away.

What would I like to see? I'd like to see it come out before August.

Final version of the Bard.
A list of Feats
Polymorph spells.
Multiclassing.

Then you don't get to look. Spoilsport.

Seconded. :]

"Teasers" or "spoilers" are not really necessary for folks who have definitely decided to buy the book already, but they may well get some folks who are on the fence to take the plunge. (How's that for a mixed metaphor?)

I've heard a few folks express misgivings about the Beta, and if I could point them to a statement that says "Good news! We reverted to the 3.5 version of Power Attack and Combat Expertise!", they might be interested to hear that.

I've ordered my book from my local game store, but I'm really curious and I would like to see the Paladin-

Did the CMB def. stay at 15?

- animal companion and how did he druid's shape change end up?

I'd love to see new cool art...

really, I want my book NOW, but, as I can't....

They're not "good" reasons, but still-

GRU

I would like to see the Monk and Paladin classes because they never get any love in previews.

I would also like to see the list of feats that made it in.

Previews on the Monk. I would love to see the revamp of the class Jason promised to us...

Final version paladins are kewl. People who followed the extensive paladin playtest threads should be pretty happy I think.

I don't want anything spoiled.

The anticipation ehances the exhulatation of finally cracking the spine of the eventual product.

I'm chomping at the bit to get my novel from the printer, to finally open that simple brown cardboard box and find a case full of books with my name on them, lined up in neat little rows, all waiting to be numbered and signed and issued to friends, family, and the general entourage.

I imagine that day. I savor the imagination. But if someone brought a fake box of books to simulate, or spoil, the moment I anticipate so dearly, I'd send them running with a double barrel full of rock salt.

Likewise with the Pathfinder book.

I want no spoilers.

I want to fully savor the highly anticpated moment I first crack that pristine spine.

So spoil me not!

Blake, why must you always appear so wise and respectable in the midst of people like me, who just want to give into the basic urge of indulgence? We seagulls are quite fond of gobbling up whatever we can find. You should be more like a seagull.

Never underestimate the awesome powers of just not looking.

1. Sorcerers. Do they still cast 1 lvl under, and if so, have they been tweaked a little?

2. Clerics. Still in heavy armor or not? Small nerf to domain powers?

3. Have the archery feats been downtoned a bit?

Actually, that will depend on how that information is served. If it can be easily ignored, then you are correct.

It is splashed right into the heart of the Blog page, then it would be more difficult to avoid. :(

Jason said he was doing something to make the higher BAB better.
Something about addional attacks meaning something more beyond getting more attacks when you get a full round attack.

Thats what interests me most, sorry about being cryptic but thats all I can remember and Jason was pretty cryptic about describing it all anyway.
