And thanks to you, Joshua, for putting it all together! I wanted to stop by and talk to you more than once, but you always seemed so busy and focused, lol. I hate to say it, but it was pretty intimidating, so I sorta stayed away beyond that one "thank you" comment I made in passing. I regret it, though. Everyone I met there, especially from Paizo, was awesome, and just as cool as I thought they'd be.

Another vote of thanks for Josh. I had a lot of fun running my first con game ever (I hope my players felt the same way), and it was cool meeting Sir Wulf (who ran an awesome Murder on the Silk Road game) and Turin the Mad. Now I have faces to go with the names.

Although I didn't do much running of games, both the folks I was the alternate for showed up and ran excellent games from the sound of it, I still had an awesome time as a volunteer and I'd do so again in a heartbeat.

Heck, I plan on doing so at the next PaizoCon and forward from there.

It had more of that feeling when I was a kid, in scouts and, later, DeMolays; Es Sprite De Corps.

Good times, good company, despite all the travel issues on my end. *chuckles*

Plan on doing it again, although next time it'll be in a rented car or via train. *grins*

It was a great game Taig - and great to meet you - I was *quite* intimidated by the professional GM'ing when I had yet to run my first game.

Again, thanks Josh! I hope you schedule a break for yourself next time to hang out more!

I wasn't able to run the PFS scenario I was scheduled to due to lack of players on Sunday morning, but had a blast writing and running the side trek adventure as part of the Convocation. I can't wait to play a larger roll behind the screen next year. Here's to everyone who ran a game, whether it was as part of an organized event or a pickup game. Without all of you, there would have been no PaizoCon.

As a lesson to us for next year: I'm pretty sure at least two more players showed up afterward, and didn't have a table. {I think they got snagged into a game in the other room though, no worries}

My wife and I had a great time volunteering. It was a little funny on Saturday morning when we had 4 GMs and only 3 players for Hand of the Muted God. It worked out though, the GMs all wound up playing instead with me GMing them.

One suggestion I would make is perhaps staggering the start times a bit. It seemed like every morning I saw a few players wandering around at about 8:30-9am.

Hand of the Muted God was definitely fun, even with the drow version of the Apple Dumpling gang showing up to take on pinball shortbus of death (Merisiel) and her full house of Valerosi and Kyrai.

All in all, much fun...although, sometimes, mornings seem to suffer due to the prior nights activities. Plus, something that will be less of an issue next time, a lot of folks didn't have personal characters to play at the deeper levels. Pregens are fun and all, but personal kits are more nice.

I think one thing this did (an intended effect I imagine) was to get people to build PFS characters. I wasn't really all that interested in organized play as a player but, after playing Valeros through Decline of Glory, I think I might make a character for myself and find some local folks to play PFS with. At the very least I'm going to run some PFS scenarios for my regular group as a one-shot breaks from our long-term campaign.

Thanks, Majuba. I'm sorry I missed your game Saturday morning, but I appreciated the goblin brains.

Hi Joshua,
I had been hoping that one of the goodies might be a signed hard-cover of the RPG, which you're giving folks at GenCon. Given that it wasn't, is there some possibility of you pulling some strings to arrange a signing once they're out? I'm happy to buy a copy...but would *love* to have it signed. Pretty please.

Seconded. :)

For those of you who enjoyed volunteering, there are still open slots at GenCon....

I'd love to if you can cover the air fare, hotel and kenneling costs. ;)

You need to be kenneled? :)

Well, you know, if it's a late night at the hotel bar. ;)

Actually, I have five dogs. The cat is pretty self sufficient, so can trust her alone for several days with a bunch of food and water left out (and having someone pop in once a day to be sure her supplies are in good order).

That's not something I'm in charge of nor is that something I could arrange. Typically, Paizo doesn't do autographed copies of our own books as it would take far too long to autograph every copy.

Well, it was worth a shot. Thanks. :)

Grab a copy and bring it with you next year to get all the signatures in person! If that's not a motivation to ensure you'll be there, I don't know what would be.

Aghh - I can never tell those Mind Flayers apart! You'd think they were talking telepathically for all I can keep track!

Oh we are, baby, we are! Just keep your goblin brains to yourself...we want human cleric brains.

Oh no, I can attest to the tastiness of the goblin brains. Illithids may be picky about the brains upon which we feast, but those goblin brains were mighty tasty. :)

Bah, goblins are barely sentient...but their brains are soooo tasty.

Indeed. I wonder if Majuba found a exceptional tribe? Hopefully their numbers were not completely depleted. Nom-nom-nom.
