Just posting a thread to see if there is any interest in a Star Wars Saga Old Republic era pbp? If you are interested, take a look at the discussion thread here for an idea about how I'm hoping to run this:
Woot. I was starting to worry that I wouldn't have any interest in this. I should probably also say that I'm shooting for about six players, if I can get enough interest.
The Jedi Practice droid concept sounds great. I'll post a wee bit more of the set up in the discussion thread here in a moment.
Don't worry about a lack of previous pbp experience, I'm sure it won't be too much of a hurdle.

There is a combat medic PrC, but at lower levels, its mainly skills/equipment/talents that get your "medic" vibe going.

Mordulin (Possible Arcanian Offshoot medic role or Selkath Jedi)
Gunny Highway (Character concept on the way)

Negative Space (Potential medic of some kind)

Let me know in the other thread what you are thinking of playing, and once we firm things up, we can start making alternate profiles of them with stats and all.

See above for the link. The only things that are "banned" are things that are inappropriate for the era, which would take me a while to look through and figure out.
For the most part, it shouldn't be too much of a problem, but wanting to be from a Jensaari tradition or taking an Imperial Knight PrC wouldn't work because those traditions aren't around during the Old Republic.
Similarly, ewoks would be off limits (for some reason I'm not thinking anyone is upset about this) ;)
Shucks...there goes my Ewok Imperial Knight concept...

With Ubermench and baron arem heshvaun's interest, I think I'll give those two spots, and then close up the group.
So after those two, I won't be taking any more members to this particular campaign (unless someone has to drop).

I haven't heard anything back from Negative Space or baron since they expressed initial interest. Are you guys still interested and/or out there following this?

I'd be very interested as well if you don't hear back, you could certainly count me as a second alternate. Love star wars and have been playing since it was a d6 game. I have the main rulebook and starships of the galaxy, but have just been drooling at Kotor. This sounds like a good excuse to pick it up if you do end up needing a second replacement.
Edit: I just read through the other thread and it looks like you had a few other interested parties there as well. I'll likely be paying attention to the thread just because it sounds like its going to be a fun game even if just to read, but if you are already full up, I understand.
Uzzy, if you can get me a character concept up before I hear back from baron, then you're in (sorry baron, but I haven't heard back from you since the initial interest).
Tarlane, if someone needs to drop, you're my first alternate (if baron doesn't get his concept in, in which case, you're the second alternate after Uzzy).

As per the other thread, Uzzy is our last regular, as I have the character concept for his character, and Tarlane and baron are our alternates (if baron is still interested).

With Ubermench dropping out, are you going to want me in KEJR, or are you going to run with one less(I know thats still one more then you originally planned.) If you don't want so many then I totally understand as a DM.
If you do, then I think I'll be making a Ithorian(if thats approved, otherwise human) noble. Going the commander/squad leader router, rather then the spoiled rich kid route.
Edit: I like making characters, so I will probably whip one up just in case you do want me in. I can have it up in a couple hours, so by the time you read this I'll probably be ready if I'm in. Otherwise its good practice since I'll be running a SW game in a couple months I suspect.
I'm going to get the game going fairly soon (if not tonight), so, Tarlane, if you want to make up a character, go ahead and do so, and we'll slot him in when we reach a good point to do so in the story.

Sounds good to me KEJR, this is the character I was planning on putting in. I still need to pretty up the character a little bit and get my answers up for your questions(I'll have those shortly) but that should be him stat-wise. Assuming all goes well and you approve of him, he'll be ready whenever you are.

Sounds good to me. I just put up his character questions as well. I'll get a more detailed background and description up, but you can probably gather the major points of his background from the answers I put.
