North Carolina man accused of shooting wife with toilet paper.
This can actually hurt quite a bit. I was once at a wedding and, as everyone knows, the bride is supposed to take off her garter and toss it to the young males at some point. Well she was not to keen on having a room full of young males staring at her while she took off a garter so instead they packed one into an air gun. I took it between the eyes and had to be carried off the dance floor to recover.
Yeah, I got the wind knocked out of me with a t-shirt once at a baseball game. Still, though, you have to admit that the headline is funny.

Sure. I still get razzed 'cause I was taken down by a woman's garter.

Pot farms = happy bears.
Maybe the mounties should leave the farms alone, they might have less bear attacks.

Maybe. Also, if this had been in the US, the place would have been raided by a SWAT team, and the bears would have been shot.

There are still bears in the US? I thought Sarah Palin shot them all from when she was helicopter hunting.

Streaking was a common occurence at innaugurations before the Civil War. It was often not very successful because partisans in the crowds back then were more likely to fall on the streaker. Most observers simply wrote this off as a juvenile prank.
