Are prices the same as the PHB? What about for other things like buying a home,store, etc???
What about the environs of Sasserin and the Ameido jungle. What is the real fauna makeup of the jungle? I thought dinosaurs were rare here but common of the Isle of Dread? Am I mistakin? I even looked at encounter charts from SCAP and they had megaraptors and T-rex in the jungle. I thought those were more monsters of the isle of dread. If you have all the dinosaurs in the Ameido jungle, the Isle of Dread isn't as special.
Advice/Thoughts/ideas?

As you said, that random encounter table was written for SCAP, when the PC's WEREN'T going to an island full of dinos. So as you say, don't have dinos there. Just reroll on the table if you come across one randomly.
As for the prices of stuff in Sasserine, I think it says in the first STAP-related Dragon all the stats for Sasserine. I'm pretty sure it lists a gp limit and says most stuff is base phb price. I know that's how I did it. Obviously exotic stuff from faraway lands is going to cost more, just inflate it up as you desire. Conversely, things in abundance there, like whale oil, seafood, tropical fruit, rum, etc etc might be a bit cheaper, if you wish it to be.
I remember there was also some stuff in the STAP players guide, related to the black market, buying animals and monsters, etc.
There is another thread about buying property in Sasserine. For my players I let them use the salvage laws of the sea: if it is abandoned you can claim (squat) it to make it yours. This worked well when they found a ship whose pirates had all died *wink* Areas outside the city were not under this law as bullywugs, trogs, lizardfolk do not consider these areas abandoned.
