Jean-Paul looks around the room in interest, something having caught his attention.
Jean-Paul catches the sights of the room, a marevelous specatcle of colour and sound. Scantily clad waitresses serve a mixture of coctails to such a diverse range of people. From pirates fresh off the seas to the street pedlars and pimps who called Riddleport their homes, the place felt alive and buzzing, an excitement almost palpable in the air.
As he watched, a small gnome playing poker at the table he had just vacated was dealt a winning hand. The little man smiled broadley, his waxed mustache curled up at the ends as he realised he was about to pull in a sizable kitty. As the last of his cards flew onto the centre of the table, things seemed to slow for the fighter. It was as if the world held its breath, waiting for something to happen, someone to act in just such a way that life would again return to the gambling hall. Jean-Paul held his breath...waiting for the moment.

Taking note of Saul's action, Calabron turns his attention back to the others in the gambling hall.
