Why ..YES! He CAN speak Aquaan! ;)

On the Star-Hunt side of things, The Grey Wanderer has just kicked off a quest of his own. His minions are looking for a very particular star, and may pop up occasionally, getting increasingly dismayed as they fail to find it...

Oooh, creepy. But I don't think Arielle is particularly interested in acquiring any brothers just now thanks ;)

Creepy? Well the Grey Wanderer serves the Eldest Elemental Evils (the fifth in particular I think, so he probably feels he has a sacred duty to throw a real party for the Fifth Sign if possible) so I would hope that he does come across as creepy....

And yes, the signs are 'counting down'...

OK, I've outlined my thoughts on Nimora's sidequest. Now we just have to figure out how to sync our time zones. ;)

Not LJ and me. We're both having a soggy day in MI.

That's a bummer, I had a lovely 70 degree day here, but I had to work most of it, then move a nectarine tree from my front to my back yard.

Soooo jealous. I still haven't got any flowers planted. Which is a good thing cause the hail would have totally destroyed them earlier this week if I had.

We got the heat, over 80, then some wicked storms. April showers...

Tries to remember what else he was supposed to do apart from advance the Grey Wanderer's schemes...

Got an angle to speed up Nimora's sidequest if you're interested.

Definitely. Can't wait to hear it.

See, Patrick? Didn't know IB was such a bad ass did ya?

Gotta help get her back to the #1 bad girl spot. Giggler's beating her in the polls lately. ;)

Given that even Strahd in Ravenloft has problems with non-stagnant water, I take it that Innocent Blood sent minions in to handle a sea-floor campaign?

Is someone going to post a thread for this war-ravaged city, or is it actually very, very, small and at the bottom of a pool in the Oasis? ;)

No vampires were harmed in the making of this arc...

It won't last long enough for its own thread. At least unless it piques enough interest.

Move the action then into the RPG thread?

Some of my characters have participated in action not occuring on other specific threads, there...

Edit:
Is there a generic 'water' based location these days?
Arguably, we have Fire (Sunny G's Sanctum and/or the oasis), Earth (the Grove), and Air (The Eyrie and/or Place of winds); but Water?

The Oasis is the closest thing.

Doesn't matter to me where we run it. It shouldn't take long.

The Oasis is the only Water based location we've got at present.

Charles, your latest alias name is confusing as all get-out since we already have a named eagle guardian spirit named Aquila. Trying to sort out which Aquila is who could get troublesome in the long run.

Yeah everyone hates a clown .. ;)

Hmm. I hadn't noticed the eagle spirit doing a lot recently, so I didn't think that would be a problem. I may dig around in classics and see if I can find an alternative.

It hasn't done much lately, although it's currently watching over JH, but I was planning on letting Arielle take LJ's bracers, to help her on her quest. So it will get pretty confusing. Or I suppose the eagle spirit name could change. Just they shouldn't both have the same name.

Meh. You went for Aquila, because Aquila=Latin for Eagle?

Charles Evans 25 wrote:

Yep, we dwarves have poor imaginations when we're hung over.

Hmmph. Just my bad luck that Aquilo=Latin, North Wind, and I was looking for a female sounding version of that...

Here's a late-nite trivia question: What novel does the name 'Keehaar' come from?

Okay, I've mixed up some Alan Garner and greek for inspiration, but be warned that the name goes with how a character acts to a certain extent for me, and having changed the name, what comes at the other characters has shifted as well.

So if nobody has any objections to Eiboria, I shall proceed with revising various nefarious plots???

Eiboria works for me. Sounds pretty cool actually.

Eiboria, the cold spark from the flame-gifter's forge, the abstract concept of wrath never before loosed in physical form.
Look well upon what you have invited.... ;)

And with that, I'm off to bed.
Goodnight. Sleep well. (Best deranged laughter here.)

Do NOT google that question.

Well played, daughter. You may have your body back.

Thank you, Mother.

What shall we do with these? She juggles two black orbs.

Good night all! ;)

And now even I have to say goodnight. Time to at least try to get some sleep.

Shadow Lodge

Good night to all then.

I adjust the question, as I misspelled the name since I was doing it from memory. It is actually 'Kehaar' in the novel I was thinking of.

Man, Google takes all the fun out of trivia games... :(

Grumpy, tired, afternoon here; post replaced with a smurf....

*sigh*

Depressing end to the mini-arc, not my intention, but maybe the elves will soften later. Restoring Mirathan would go a long way to that.

But playing it planted ideas for other arcs in my mind....

The setting. Maybe the Regent's last post will make it more clear.

It happens. There are always more doors...

FYI, Mirathan's family started off as a red herring.

Well, they are living in salt water...

Alright, I'm not really sure what to do with Sandreef. I don't want to end up with another situation like the Eyrie where I end up talking to myself a lot. Basically Nimora just wants to convince her mother, the High Priestess of Aventurnus to help her out with divinations. Which of course I don't know the answers to.

Just write a conversation between them and we'll see where it leads us. :)

Yeah, I've been trying to collect my thoughts on the issue. And come up with names for all these people :/
Will probably have something up soon.

I'm horrible with names, which is why I skipped so many. Good luck.

To help: Mirathan's spirit has been Magic Jar'd, his body stuffed into a pocket dimension of sorts.

Lynora, if you want I can make up some aliases to assist in the dabate. Just give me an idea of what you want for characters.
