Irv calls into the bag, as the fight starts, Keyboard! He unrolls a rollable synthesized piano and
plays this

as the fight starts.

"If there is every a war, how about we just have her skate around and serve drinks to the other side? It would down in history as the 'War of One Day and One Night'."

"Ooh.." He says with a wince. "The satyr got in a lucky shot there, didn't he?"

Spoiler:
Well don't avoid doing it on my account, by any means - my time is too sporadic now to commit, so I'll just respectfully bow out. Playing a spellcaster the way I want to is just too hard to do from where I can post regularly. Que sera.... :)

"You think they'd last that long?"

"Ooh, he's gonna miss those teeth later."

Even if you couldn't commit to it on a regular basis there's no reason you couldn't show up now and then for a cameo. :)

Spoiler:
You are (as always) in the right with your wisdom. (^.^) I could try and poke my head in I suppose...

Spoiler:
I asked E7, and he's still not feeling up to returning to the game, but I got permission to NPC Jiminy if we do go ahead with the game. So, your call DB3. We probably do need a couple more players though. Well, maybe not need. But it would likely have more twists if there were more players. :)

Spoiler:
I had hoped to get the originals back, including that monkey if we can catch him(he'd only be a problem if he gets Tamrin's Caster... >.>). It's not that I'm against it, I've even toyed around with names for the thread, but I just don't think I'm up for making a recruitment thread with the back of all the Originals... :/

Security escorts the troublemakers out and the Club returns to normal operation. Danae skates back across the Club, totally oblivious to the chaos she caused.

Spoiler:
No prob. Recruiting for rules almost free is hard. Most people just look at you like you're totally insane. You want me to ask for volunteers in FAWTL or just leave it alone and move on?

"Okay, maybe id would just be take thirty minutes... give or take a few minutes depending on how fast she skate and how fast the fights spread." He takes a moment to look at the brawlers as they are lead out. The 'untamed passions' of satyrs seems to extend to fighting too. That was a good fight." Mildly NSFW

Spoiler:
Go ahead and see if any are interested. "Tales of Agartha: The Avalon Chronicles" might be a good title, considering the story will revolve around a school... Why do I feel like Professor X?

Spoiler:
Sorry. I'm having a hard time adjusting to the time change. So very, very tired. Anyways, as soon as I wake up enough to put coherent sentences together I will put out the call in FAWTL to see if we have anyone interested in joining the drama club. :)

Spoiler:
Even sleep deprived you will come for the food, as I expected. Have a good rest after this before-nap snack.

KC:
If you haven't already, check the other spoiler.

Dragonborn:
The spoiler about food, or Lynora's spoiler?

Garble comes back inside. He watches Aananda warily as he places his order.

Kobold:
Any of them I guess.

Spoiler:
Well, I don't want to butt in, but I am still interested in joining.
However, given the quality focus and the way I used to play, I'm completely fine if the answer is still no. I'll just stay here, annoying whatever characters happen to enter the Club. :P

Spoiler:
After seeing how you play Darst, I'm inclined to give you a chance(if I didn't Naomi might take it out on Izbahn, and I've got to keep that possibly naive mage alive as long as I can). You read the first thread, so you should have a clue about the setting, we're just jumping into the future a bit(20 years, give or take) and putting it in a school full of kids with strange abilities. Which may be why I felt like Xavier...

Spoiler:
By strange, do we mean 'magical'?
And thanks. It's a big compliment to even be considered. If the others are alright with it, I'll be happy to enter.

Spoiler:
Strange can equal magical. Or genius, or alchemical(last player to join the original thread even made a class he called Mutant that was purely alchemical in it's shapeshifting and enhancing abilities).

And I think my inclination may carry a lot of weight(if it doesn't I'll tell them I kept rolling dice until Tamrin came back an elf and that they owe me. Shh!)

Spoiler:
Well, I'm good with KC joining the new thread, presuming it gets off the ground. I'd definitely request that he focus on good guy characters at first. I just feel like that's the quickest way to build the trust necessary in a rules light game. Some of your villains were actually pretty cool, KC, and I'd like to see some more of them in the future. Just maybe not in the beginning story arc. Sound fair?

And DB3, fudging rolls, for shame! (Thank you!) ;P

Spoiler:
I'll have you know that put no delicious sugar-filled treat, be it fudge or ice cream, on any of those rolls! ;)

Going to use your spoiler in FAWTL to make a thread.

Spoiler:
I didn't really do the villains well. I liked them, but I tried to stress my own opinions about them on other characters.
I have a kobold concept, mostly because it seems like the underground races are rather unrepresented in this underground world. If not a kobold, I'd go for a dwarf or the like. Just making sure there isn't a preference.

Kobold Cleaver wrote:

Spoiler:
Either kobold or dwarf would work fine. Dwarves are reasonably well accepted. Kobolds probably less so, but the school is full of misfits many of whom are odd races or have powers that make them ostracized in normal society so this is definitely a good place to play something outside the norm.

We now return you to you irregularly scheduled chaos!

"So.." Canis says as he sits down next to Arielle with a drink in each hand. "What do you think those weird guys from Agartha are up to? I mean weird compared to us by the way."

;)

She laughed. "Weirder than us? Well, then, gods help them because they're going to need it."

"Are we sure the gods can even help? Like we seem to have agreed upon, they are weirder than us."

"Hmmmm. I think you're right. They'll need help from something more powerful than us I think." ;)

"No reason we couldn't help though. I could probably sniff out the trail they left traveling through the ether..."

"Plus, your brothers have escaped the net at the Oasis and I'm pretty sure they couldn't follow us."

"And that is the best motivation for leaving I think I've ever heard. I am not up for another run-in with the demigods of mischief and mayhem," she said, laughing. "Somebody else can watch the Terrors for a while."

"I vote Danae. Imagine what she would do to them the first time the pranked her!" He says his a laugh.

She laughed. "Yes, I think that's exactly the sort of lesson they need. Never try to prank a prankster. Especially if they're better at it than you are."

"You'd think they would have learned that after trying to get at me the first few times..." He says thoughtfully as he sips his drink. "If we are going on vacation we should get ready. Tell people where were going, pack handy haversacks full of food, try to cram even an ounce of survival skill into a certain airhead, get enchantments to help us travel easier through the ethers. You know, the basic stuff for two teenagers of suppressed deific might."

"Okay. Well, since you obviously know what we need to do, maybe you should make a checklist? And I have an ounce of survival skill! Not much more than that, but I'm not completely hopeless. I'm just not used to living out in the wilderness like you are."

"Arielle, the only reason you found that catapult in the haystack was because you set it off."

"Checklist. Got it. I'll go make one right now." Canis says as he sees Arielle glaring and smells the start of a storm. "You can tell people we're leaving."

He smiles apologetically and goes off to write the list.

Let's stop and think about the panic we are going to cause Ryleh as we try to get through the wards. Let's hope it's as funny(and worth it) as we think it is.

Arielle heads off to let people know that they were heading off for a bit, starting with Danae who she outright begged to take over babysitting duties for a little while. And then heading off to try and convince her parents this was a good idea.

*crosses fingers*
Please don't think we need a chaperon, please don't think we need a chaperon...

I'm going with the 'we're going to visit a school' angle...hope that works....

Tell them it's an obedience school. They should get a real kick out of that!

Less than an hour later, Canis has the haversacks packed with everything he thinks they could possibly need, and shoulders them as he goes looking for Arielle.

Comes running in at top speed.

"Come on! Hurry up! I got permission and I don't want to give them a chance to change their minds again!"

Letting out a howl, Canis opens up a portal into the ether and sets the destination: outside the residence of Ephebe and Taron Sunwake. He steps in, but both he and Arielle finds themselves lost.

"It's like something's keeping us from getting to their place..."

Spoiler:
What are the chances LK and Arielle know about the wards? Given their heritage, both of them working together might be able to break them in order to get in. Which creates all kinds of problem that remind of me of innocent things leading to possible cataclysms and apocalypses... (:<

*bump*

"I don't get it. I mean, Taron and Ephebe are able to go back and forth so easily...maybe we're doing it wrong? Didn't Taron say something about the place being protected by some kind of wards?....I wonder if we could get a message through to them so they could sort of open the door..."

Just did a quick search for "Agartha wards" and nothing is in the Clud thread! No one from Agartha ever mentioned them! XD

"Did he? I'll admit and didn't spend much time with him, so you'd know... Um, if we can't get in how are we going to get a message in?" He asks, his shrug sending trails of ether swirling.

Woops! Oh well, maybe he said something while they were dancing. :)

"Okay....well....everything is connected to Yggdrasil somewhere right? Maybe if we can find that point we can get in there?"

Arielle wrote:

"I guess we can try that." Canis says as he takes control of the swirling ether...

"Hey, everyone I'm back. Sorry about the extended absence."

I'm heading out the Gen Con this year. Anyone else going and want to meet up? I have a Droid and mobile cell number.
