Varrush, Master of the Palace of Abundance

I've always had a liking for the Rakshasa, even moreso since CotCT had used them and we got to see more than just tiger-headed fiends, but fox, hawk, alligator (or was that crocodile?), and even an elephant.

So, I had to give Varrush a second read, and it still grabbed me.
Congrats, Varrush earns my third vote!

You know, this villain is one of the few in which the inclusion of smell in Perception rolls could lead to plot-important information. I'd be psyched if my guy found out a clue with his nose. Well done.

I do like this villain, and I hope to see him in future rounds. He's a well written rakshasa, and that's something of a rarity. I think he could shine given a good enough set-up and scenario. But there are other characters that I like just that little bit more, so he doesn't get one of my precious four points. But well done, none the less - hope to see more!

This is true poetry, unseen elsewhere in the submissions (and very rarely read in RPG publications, i think);

By the way the sentence is powerfully evocative of the true evil of Varrush, I mean his lack of regard for other sentient creature (and not his hedonism, a worldview per se as harmless as any) !
Put Varrush at the head of any unjust social order, willing to do anything to preserve his previleges, and you certainly got a proper villain.
