Ladies and Gentlemen, I am pleased to announce that the games that will be run this month at the Sydney Shadow Lodge games day at Good Games, City (on December 15th, starting at 10:15am) is as follows:
"The Accursed Halls" (by veteran RPG designer Richard Baker):
A Module designed for 1st level characters (playable by 1st or 2nd level PCs).
Buried beneath the castle of Thornkeep lie strange passages and chambers that once belonged to a cruel Azlanti wizard of eons past. Goblins have begun excavating the so-called Accursed Halls in hopes of finding a lost goblin artifact, though their constant battles with the undead that haunt these corridors has left them blind to the dungeon’s other myriad wonders.
Feel free to visit the event Facebook page for additional information :-)

Alright, I have had some requests to try and run a few things between Christmas and New Year, and after careful consideration, I will offer the first three parts of 'Rise of the Runelords'.
On Thursday, the 27th, we will be offering 'Rise of the Runelords, Part I: Burnt Offerings':
"The Goblin tribes of the Sandpoint region have been unusually fractious lately. Rumor has it that a new group of powerful outsiders has taken control, based out of an abandoned Thassilonian ruin now known as 'Thistletop'. Sheila Heidmarch sends a group of operatives to the region to deal with this menace, in order to improve relations with the local populace, and coincidentally to learn what they can from the ruins."
(A Pathfinder module designed for PCs of levels 3-5)
On Friday, the 28th, we will be offering 'Rise of the Runelords, Part II: The Skinsaw Murders':
Sendeli Foxglove has asked the Pathfinder Society for a favor: She and her siblings recently discovered an old deed, which shows that the Foxglove family owns a manor house down the coast from the settlement of Sandpoint. Her brother went to Sandpoint a few months ago to investigate, but has not been heard from since. She would like someone to go to the Manor, and find out what happened to him.
Unfortunately, amongst the local populace, Foxglove Manor has long been rumored to be haunted, and inhabited by many less than savory squatters. Dare you face your fears, and venture into the Manor?
(A Pathfinder Module for PCs of levels 4-6)
On Sunday, the 30th, we will be offering 'Rise of the Runelords, Part III: The Hook Mountain Massacre':
The enigmatic Osprey, long-time special operative of the Pathfinder Society, came to Magnimar with alarming news: Fort Rannick, home of the Order of the Black Arrow, a martial organisation dedicated to patrolling the Storval Rise and holding back the local giant population, has fallen to a small army of Ogres!
Given the Society's renewed interest in the region, anything that disrupts the subtle balance of power in Varisia cannot be tolerated, and so a band of Society operatives is to be sent to the vicinity of the Fort, to discover if any members of the Order have survived, and hopefully, to retake the Fort.
(A Pathfinder Module for designed for PCs of levels 8-10)

Minor fix, James is willing to GM a table of #4-12 A Refuge of Time in the second session if needed.
As such, we could use a second GM for #4-11 The Disappeared.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I am pleased to announce that the games that will be run this month at the Sydney Shadow Lodge games day at Good Games, City (on January 19th, starting at 10:15am) are as follows:
Thornkeep, Part II: The Forgotten Laboratory (by Pathfinder RPG Lead Designer Jason Bulmahn):
A Module designed for 3rd level characters (playable by 2nd-4th level PCs).
The goblins of the dungeon's upper level took more than one trinket from the ancient laboratory that dwells beneath them. The wizard that created these items also performed dangerous experiments, many of which have gone out of control over the years. Stranger still, someone appears to be using the ancient equipment with sinister results.
Pathfinder Society Scenario #2-21: The Dalsine Affair (Written by Alex Greenshields):
A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for 1st to 7th level characters (Tiers: 1-2, 3-4 and 6-7).
Your mission takes you to the Taldan capital city of Oppara where the intricate web of political intrigue and ages-old religious conflicts threaten the Pathfinder Society’s presence in the land. When Baron Jacquo Dalsine’s cousin is implicated in a recent attack on Society allies, the situation becomes even tighter for the Pathfinders, and at the end of the day some members of the Dalsine family may not get out unscathed.
Alright, I have had some requests to try and run a few things between Christmas and New Year, and after careful consideration, I will offer the first three parts of 'Rise of the Runelords'.

Second session will be:
- The Quest for Perfection—Part I: The Edge of Heaven (Tiers 1-5)
- The Cyphermage Dilemma (Tiers 1-5)
- The Heresy of Man—Part III: Beneath Forgotten Sands (Tiers 5-9)

Ladies and Gentlemen, I am pleased to announce that the games that will be run this month at the Sydney Shadow Lodge games day at Good Games, City (on February 16th, starting at 10:15am) are as follows:
"Thornkeep - Dark Menagerie" (by RPG legend Ed Greenwood):
A Module designed for 6th level characters (playable by 5th-7th level PCs)
In life, the wizard who ruled this realm kept many trophies, mementos, and even captured pets from his journeys, both to entertain his dark sensibilities and to cow his business associates and coerced allies. Now, kept alive all these years via stasis-inducing magic that's recently failed, the unfettered beasts of his magical menagerie run amok.
Additionally, we will also be offering:
"The God's Market Gamble" (Written by Dennis Baker)
A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 1–5
Valuable relics of religious natures have been disappearing on their way into Absalom and the Pathfinder Society stands to lose countless irreplaceable artifacts if the cause isn't found. Amid the bustling markets of the God's Market in the shadow of the Starstone Cathedral, the Society sets a plan in motion to ensure the parties responsible for the recent thefts are caught and brought to justice.
Do any of you Sydneysiders (looking at the VC/VL here!) know of any Society games going on in the Newcastle area? University will be starting back up soon, so if there are no permanent groups established at Newcastle Uni yet it might be a good time to get one going.
IIRC the Anime Club used to play a lot of 4e and Magic the Gathering, so I'm sure there'd be people up for it.

Hi Alice,
We've tried to get a Society game running at Good Games Newcastle on, I think, three separate occasions. The first two times, the GMs disappeared, and the last time, after a lot of initial interest, no-one turned up to play.
I'd love to get something started up there though, and I'm thinking that, later in the year, I might organise a kick-off event up there, over an entire weekend. If you have any leads on suitable venues and contacts, please PM me!
Cheers,
Al

I hope I'm posting in the right forum. I moved over from Europe not too long ago and I'm looking for a group located inner-west. Big fan of roleplaying and investigation, I've played a lot of old scholl D&D2 and Call of Cthulhu, but I'm told pathfinder is really good ! Can't play every night because of 2 young terrors at home but still enthusiastic to play every week. Cheers.

There are game days set up all around Sydney: Burwood, Miranda, Sydney CBD and Blacktown.
Alternatively, I am aware of another group in Blacktown that runs Fellowship of the White Star and D&D 4th ed.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I am pleased to announce that the games that will be run this month at the Sydney Shadow Lodge games day at Good Games, City (on March 16th, starting at 10:15am) are as follows:
Before the Dawn—Part I: The Bloodcove Disguise
Written by Crystal Frasier.
A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 1-7.
You are sent to Aspis Consortium-infested Bloodcove to gather supplies for a nearly doomed Pathfinder mission nearby. Disguised as ordinary merchants, you have little time to gather what you need and get out before the Consortium discovers and destroys you.
The Bloodcove Disguise is the first scenario in the two-part Before the Dawn campaign arc. Pathfinder Society Scenario #2-02: Before the Dawn—Part II: Rescue at Azlant Ridge is the sequel.
--------------------------------
Thornkeep - Sanctum of a Lost Age
Written by Paizo Publisher Erik Mona.
A Module designed for 7th level characters (playable by 6th-8th level PCs)
Scholars claim the dungeons below Thornkeep were built by the Ancient Azlanti, but how do they know, really? If Rozimus of Tymon speaks true, one level of Thornkeep’s dungeon holds survivors of that long-dead empire eager to return to the world and share the lore of their glorious age. They’re not undead, Rozimus claims, or illusory phantoms, but true living and breathing High Azlanti! But why does Rozimus know so much about them, and why is he so eager to return to the dungeon he claims almost killed him 5 years ago?

Just under two weeks to go until Lissalapalooza and, with just under 70 registered attendees so far, we've now more players than Ruby Phoenix last Easter!
As previously advised, I've started some minor consolidation of the schedule, switching undersubscribed tables for more tables of popular options, such as The Disappeared, Tower of the Ironwood Watch, The Veteran's Vault, and Ruins of Bonekeep I: The Silent Grave.
Of the 106 game tables still available, 54 are now running, which is closing in on Risen Rune.
Of the 52 games still to reach the minimum three players, 28 need only 1 more player, 20 need 2 more, and 4 need 3.
Registration is on Warhorn (http://warhorn.net/shadowmoot) and you can join the Shadow Lodge community on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/shadowlodge) and Meetup (http://www.meetup.com/Shadow-Lodge).
