Aldan,Tess does not mind joining you and she makes sure to wake you early. After waking you and having some morning fun, she mentions that it is time for her to get ready for work.
Be safe if you leave today. Breakfast will be ready soon? Do you have any requests?
"Not this morning, no. I'll have a simple breakfast today, i think. Ham, eggs, toast, and juice. That'll do. Thank you." He smiles, cracking open his spellbook. He will then go to eat his breakfast after his studies are finalized.

Aldan,
~Tess smiles and kisses you~ Ok. Shall I have it sent up?
Brother Seamus |
Brother Seamus,
Ok. You head over to where Arien lives. After knocking on the door, you hear a groggy voice saying to wait a minute. After a bit, Arien opens the door. You notice that he is shaking a bit, but you do not smell any booze on him.
Oh, hello there. Come on in. Sorry about the mess.
Actually, Sharoth, I didn't knock on the door. I just entered (picking the lock if necessary) and started making breakfast for Arien with the foodstuff I'd either finagled from the Slumbering Drake's larder or puchased on the way. Once inside the house, I was not trying to be quiet.
However, I do enact a quiet search of the place, keeping track of how much alcohol he has here.
When Arien wakes up and comes into the kitchen, I greet him. "Well met, Brother. Forgive my familiarity, but I dearly wanted this morrow to start well for thee."
As I set sausages and sweetcakes before him, I ask, "To which of the gods do we dedicate this day? To whom to we offer our prayers, works, sufferings, and joy?"
And as we eat, I offer, "Kael and I, and some allies, went out last e'en. And we did find evidence to butress thy claims, Brother. There are, strewth, bondsmen in the lands, hid 'midst the hills to the east. We found some of their bodies, slain in a recent struggle.
"But they stole away another yound woman, an apprentice wizardling. A small band goes a-hunt today, to rescue her and her fellows, and to avenge all who have died in that bondage.
"Dost thou wish to join the hunt?"

Idiah is curious about what Lady Chauntessa is reading. She has never seen anyone reading a book at breakfast before. She tries to see what the book is without getting too close to disturb her hostess. Can I see if it is a spellbook, or the mundane kind?
Idiah,
It is NOT a spellbook. From what you can see it is a history book of some kind.

Brother Seamus,
You enter an unkept shanty. The place smells of booze, but you notice somethign strange. In one corner you see three bottles that seem to have been thrown at the wall, perhaps in frustration. Arian is sleeping on an unkept matress. There is a place in the corner to do some cooking, but it apears to have not been used in a while and is in need of some cleaning.

I clean the kitchen before cooking.

As breakfast is cooking, I clean up the shards and dispose of them.

Brother Seamus,
~Arien yawns and wakes up while mumbling something about a good dream. His head turns to face you and his jaw drops open in amazement~ What? Why?
~He bows his head and says a little prayer before getting up and walking to where you have the food set~ Thank you for doing this. No one has cared this much about me in a long time.
I do not have any of the Golarian books in front of me. Pick some LN good of Knowledge or something like that.
~Arien bows his head and prays. Then he eats his food, thanking you profusely. However, after hearing your tale he stops and thinks for a minute.~ I woul dbe honored to join you, but my concern is that I am out of shape and might cave in to the drink at the wrong time. ~he closes his eyes for a moment, trying to block out some painful memories~ However, if you think that you can trust me, then I would be happy to join you. Let me clean up some and get somet things together.

~quintus smiles slightly and hobbles over to your table~ Thank you for your hospitality. I am indeed hungry and could use some food.
Merian will wait until Quintus has had his fill, or until he indicates he is ready to talk, before asking about the results of the sending.
DM Sharoth |
Merian, Valtiro, Kael, and Aldan,
You notice that Lady Chauntessa finishes her meal and then gets up heading to the rear of the building.
~Quintus notices that~ Ah, that is our cue. Shall we follow the Lady? ~he gets up and hobbles to the direction that Lady Chauntessa went~

Abadar, LN god of cities, wealth, merchants, and law
Ironi, LN god of healing, knowledge, runes, and strengthNethys, N god of destruction, knoledge, magic, protection, and runes
Pharasma, N goddess of fate, death, prophesy, and birth
Perhaps Ironi?

Brother Seamus nods. "The gods ask no more of us than we can give. I shall lend thee strength as thy needs demand. Know you, Brother, the name 'Ankiel'?"
DM Sharoth |
Aldan, Merian, Idaih, and Kael,
You eventually enter into one of the back rooms and Lady Chauntessa motions that you all should have a seat. She then closes the door and locks it.
Sorry about this security, but buth Quintus and myself feel that it is better to be safe than sorry.
