Blackjack as a prestige class? (Spoilers)

Curse of the Crimson Throne

So I know the current one has levels in Duelist, but what about the possibility of a prestige class for someone who took up the mantle? Is Duelist pretty much it or is there a possible good "Blackjack" prestige class that a pc who took up the mantle could adopt?

You could possibly look to the Vigilante prestige class for inspiration, and maybe the Bounty Hunter as well (for their nonlethal abilities). Something with elements of those and the Duelist might make for a good 'Blackjack training regimen'.

My humble 2cp :)

Well, I'd say that part of the BlackJack character is his mutability- the current blackjack is a rapier-and-dagger zorro type, suave and debonair. But blackjack could just as easily be a trick-shooting bow-and-arrow robin hood sort (as he has become in my campaign, a sable company marine-turned-vigilante). Or a dagger-monkey master manipulator who turns crime syndicates and nobles against eachother. or a rooftop-jumping footpad barbarian with a greataxe who makes muggers tremble in their boots.

Not everything needs a PrC.

While I agree that not everything does, I just feel the WANT for one. I was thinking it would be a cool reward for a pc who became Blackjack. Also while it is true every blackjack could be different, the way I read him is that ALL Blackjacks have been rapier and dagger wielding guys so similiar its hard to pick out when a new one comes along. This could be due to long terms of non appearance and the peoples' memories, sure, but I tend to think that Blackjack as a role reads the same always in much the way Zorro does (and I have a sneaky suspicion the two might be related *wink*). Zorro is awlays dressed the same and wields a rapier, etc. As such I was looking into buidling a Blackjack prestige class for my own uses and anyone who wants one. I guess the Duelist works for the this, but I wanted something more flavorful. That's just me I guess, maybe the Hero of Legend from, I think, Unearthed Arcana...

I Agree with Jodah, if you look on the other blackjack threads, He has used various fighting styles throughout history. A Sword and shield, range, hand to hand This is too varies to all be covered by one prestige class.
