Is this module the grand finale of the Falcon's Hollow series?

Liberty's Edge

Yes, you get to know who/what is behind all happenings which have taken place during CROWN OF THE KOBOLD KING and REVENGE OF THE KOBOLD KING.
I don't know if I am allowed to do this, but I cold copy/paste the background info here as a spoiler...

It does leave a handful of loose ends that could easily be used for future modules, but it does cap off storyling in D0, D1, and D1.5.

Silver Crusade

pretty good module

best module out of the 2 that were released last month, then again I like undead so I'm a bit impartial to that one, ha ha.

I'm not convinced Falcon's Hollow will ever have a Grand Finale. Its such a fun place to torture that I'm certain it will suffer at the hands of many GMs for many years to come.

I've marked my calendar for a 'Return to Falcon's Hollow' adventure in 2012.

In the meantime, though, I'm really just interested in the reveal of what was beneath the dwarven monastary that drove out the kobolds.

The possibilities are endless:

Bride of the Kobold King
Son of the Kobold King
Escape from Falcon's Hollow
Falcon's Hollow Strikes Back
Falcon's Hollow II: Electric Boogaloo

..ok, maybe not so much on that last one...

I'm looking forward to Michael Bay's Falcon's Hollow: Explosions, starring Megan Fox and Edward Norton. A mad scientist/wizard is experimenting with designing cyborgs using sentient undead tissue and his brother (Edward Norton) returns to Falcon Hollow after years away to finally put a stop to the magical science gone wrong. There's only one problem: The cyborg zombies are loaded with enough sonic and fire magic to level Darkmoon Vale and they explode when destroyed. Megan Fox will be playing a smoking-hot but troubled CG rogue/cleric whose father was killed in the long ago war of Hungry Are the Dead.

And when's the next RPG Superstar contest?

Don't know when, but here is a possible selection of the rounds

Round 1: Design a new building for Falcon's Hollow
Round 2: Design a new BBEG for Falcon's Hollow
Round 3: Design another monster that noone has ran into yet in Darkmoon Vale, but apparently is fairly common.
Round 4: Design another scenario for the PCs to find even more unknown levels in the Dwarven Monastery
Round 5: Design an artifact that is located in Darkmoon Forest that noone has noticed yet.
Round 6: Design a level above the current monastery.
Round 7: Repeat Round 4, but this one must be dominated by purple worms.

At the very least, this should be made into the Crawl at the Gen Con Booth!

How about it folks!

Okay, you can get The Bride of the Kobold King's stat block here:

And her picture here:

The picture should show up on her stat block page when it's finalized. Thoughts? Suggestions?

Cute.

you don't really need D1.5 if you don't want to in order to use D4 though Merlokrep would make an interesting encounter when the players tries to stop the breaking of the seal.

Players (groaning in unison): "Not you again!"

Merlokrep: "Merk Merk! Tis i pink skins!"

Looks to me like an adventure path that's slowly but surely growing, instead of following the "planned community" trope.

Whatever happens, I'm going to figure out a way to get this babe into my game. Even if I have to marry her myself!

Can D4 be effectively run as a stand alone, without any of the other FH modules?

I would say it can be, but I haven't actually ran it, just read it.
