As much as I love Pathfinder, I simply cannot afford them anymore. And since my Canadian money is worth so much less now, I'm afraid the conversion rates are killing me as well.

Wow - what the heck happened? When I visited Victoria this summer, the loonie was worth about $1.10! Looks like I definitely should have put the trip off 'til next year.

Not sure, and I work in the investment industry up here! All I know is that a low CDN dollar is good for our economy, but bad for us individuals who like to shop across the border :)

Today for instance our $ is worth about 0.85 USD, which means all my Pathfinder books end up being about $3-4 more expensive, and shipping costs more too since that's in USD as well.

I've come to terms with it though, and will still buy my modules and books through amazon.ca, I just have to wait to get them in bunches to get the free super saver shipping.

Sucks that I will need to miss out on the PDF's though as well, since those are the most useful to me.

Yeah the Australian Dollar went from $0.95 USD to down around $0.55 USD. It is now a little more stable on $0.65 USD. It really hit me hard for my PF subs.

That sucks for you guys.

Ah well, it's not as bad as what US taxpayers will be facing in a couple months :P

I'll take a low dollar value rather than a sub-prime mortgage crisis any day :)

Heh I hear your pain, I went from about 1000 Korean won = $1 two years ago, to 1360 Korean won = $1
