Make sense? It's such a classic boss battle setup.

Initiative;
Hessiah 25
Juliare 22
Warrior 12
Warenhari 12
Brock 12
Guards 10
Quick 10
Priests 4

Juliare wrote:

The acolytes wear scale mail, Kanto wears a chain shirt and the fighter has a breast plate. All except Kanto have shields.

Hessiah is up, and I wonder who Juliare will be firing at.

Hessiah moves near Brock.

If Hessiah can still act and there is an enemy within range he fires off a fire dart.

Ranged Touch Attack and Fire Dart Damage (1d20+3=14, 1d3=3)

Hessiah. Please look at the map. You are two rooms removed from the enemies. The closest you can be, with a double move, is O13, beside Juliare. You'll need to move again to be able to see through the doors.

Let's consider he moved to O12 then this round . I think you forgot a diagonal somewhere , Quick

Black Tom wrote:

As stated , the first foe with a weapon who'll come in my line of sight . If there is none , I'll have wasted my action

Male Human (mostly) Ex-cleric and Grumpy Cat

While Hessiah hustles closer to the action Juliare nocks an arrow and waits for an enemy to come within sight. As the warrior steps to M17 and takes a swing at Quick (who ducks behind the doorpost) he lets fly his arrow and hits the warrior in the shoulder for 11 points of damage. He winces but does not fall.

This moves Juliare to 12+ in the initiative order, not that I think it matters.

Waren, Brock and Quick are up.

Waren places a healing hand on Brock. Curing him fully.

He sends Po' chattering and chomping toward the closest enemy. The Diseased Rat fails to strike well enough, however.

"We've got you now, your four-flusher! You won't be the big bug of no one after we're through with you!", Quick curses, firing a blast from her fingers at Kanto. The lightning arcs across her body. Quick ducks behind the closest pillar, her one hand up, pointed like a pistol.

"Go on, Spark! Get the other one!"

Gnashing his teeth, the current manifestation of Spark takes a bite out of the acolyte beside Kanto. He gets a face full of shield, instead.

New map here. Save us, Brock!

Brock smiles as Waren as he feels his life force strengthen and then runs to the aid of the Giant rat to attack the man who looks very much like he could harm the others. can I attack him, and he is the one all bad ass warrior looking right?

Brock once near enough to his foe brings his Great Axe above his head and taking a big breath as he pulls hard down with all his might!

Attack: 1d20+4=17

Damage: (1d12+6=10)

I'll do the best I can but, I think at the moment its up to the dice...

Male Human (mostly) Ex-cleric and Grumpy Cat

Some adjustments to the map: the warrior moved to M17, so Po should be in N17. Also I think Quick would need to be in N16 to have line of sight to Kanto, but it's possible that she moved away after shooting. I guess Brock would be in N16.

Quick's lightning strikes the priestess, who looks more annoyed than hurt. Brock steps into the fray but the warrior parries his mighty blow with his shield.

The acolyte fighting Spark conjures a double of himself out of thin air. The two figures weave in and out of each other, so that it is impossible to tell which is the true one, until he touches Spark, causing him to bleed for 2 points. His female partner clambers over the pew to L18 and speaks a magic word, touching the warrior gently. His wound partially closes.

At the same time Kanto tries to entrap Brock with her vile magic, forcing a Will save. She also conjures an illusory double, and the two Kantos leer at you.

Hessiah and Juliare are up.

Male Half Elf ( want to make something of it !) Ranger 2

Juliare move to O16 and tries to fire at the fighter without success
attack 6 damage 11

for those who speak elf

Spoiler:
concentrate your attack on the fighter

My mistake. Quick indeed was there, but she moved at the end of her turn. I also forgot to move the warrior. I've (hopefully) fixed that with this new map.

Male Human (mostly) Ex-cleric and Grumpy Cat

I will DMPC Hessiah for now.

Hessiah moves to O17 and fires off an arcane bolt at the warrior that hits him in the face and has him screaming with pain as his own helmet sears his flesh. Juliare fires again but to no avail.

I need a Will save from Brock (DC 15). If it fails, he is paralyzed and the fighter is going for his throat (9 damage and a Fortitude save (DC 19). His attempted Coup de Grace will also provoke an AoO from Po.

After that it is Waren, Brock, Quick and Spark.

Po's AOO, if necessary.

Unable to get a good attack through the door, Waren moves forward, and casts Virtue on himself, sharing it with his animal friend.

Po strikes out at the guard again, a flurry of claws, fur, and teeth. The small rat clashes against the armed warrior.

Quick sidesteps the bodies and the flurrying melee. Channeling some power inside her, she releases it as a crackling energy. It flows from her, and dances along the bodies of her allies. Everyone feels a renewed sense of vigour and determination.

Spark uses this vigour to lash out at one of his enemies. Chomping wildly, he can't seem to land a blow.

Cast Bless. Everyone, please add +1 to all of your attacks for the next 10 rounds. New map here.

Brocks WILL SAVE: 1d20=17

Brock Fights off the vile magic as it tries to trap his mind and when the man slices for his neck, and he hears the sound of battle around him, he lets himself go... his vision turns red as he goes into a berserk Rage! Then Brock brings his Axe up once again, Rage boiling from every pore of his body!

Attack: 1d20+6=24

Damage: 1d12+10=22

DIEEEE!!!!! Brock roars, spit flying from his mouth, face contorted in the same fashion as a snarling bear!

Male Human (mostly) Ex-cleric and Grumpy Cat

Brock casts off the vile magic. The fighter snorts in disappointment and tries to get a blow in, but is distracted by Po and loses his grip. That's all Brock needs and with a ferocious roar he cleaves the warrior's head from his body.

That sight does even more than Quick's magic to fortify your spirit. But the priests have even more tricks up their sleeve. The priestess that just healed the warrior conjures an image of herself to confound you and desperately tries to break Brock's spirit. Brock needs to make another Will save.

Meanwhile Spark bites one of the priests only to see him vanish into thin air. The priest draws his mace and deals Spark a blow for 4 points of damage. Spark also bleeds for 6 points from the open wound.

Kanto seems shocked to see her champion fall. With a frightened gesture she conjures a shimmering field around herself (both of her).

Hessiah and Juliare are up, then Waren, Brock and Quick.

Male Half Elf ( want to make something of it !) Ranger 2

Juliare is in O16 , Quick , he moved last round .
He fires an arrow which goes astray at the priest not in close combat
Attack 13 ; Damage 6

Might be sufficient to hit a double though

Hessiah moves to get cover and also to get a clear view of the enemy. He again hurls an arcane bolt at one of the enemies.

Ranged Touch Attack and Fire Dart Damage (1d20+2=12, 1d3=3)

Male Human (mostly) Ex-cleric and Grumpy Cat

Hessiah has cover where he stands (because of Po. Unfortunately, so does the enemy (except Kanto, and she is out of range), so his ray of fire goes wide. Juliare's arrow is more lucky and manages to eliminate the copy of the female priest on the floor.

Waren, Brock and Quick (I suspect that Spark is gone for now) are up.

Male Half Elf ( want to make something of it !) Ranger 2

I won't be there this week end so play me if necesssary

Po's attack was 17 (including the Bless I forgot), damage 3. Waren missed.

Chittering excitedly at seeing the warrior fall, Po advances to the next combatant. A storm of teeth, the rat leaps toward the priest.

Waren lunges out with his shortspear to attack the priest, but connects only with air.

Spark has taken 12hp damage so far. The srd lists wolves at having 13 hp. Through the magic of DnD, Spark is perfectly fine with 1 hp. For now.

Bloody and growling, Spark lunges at the priest's face, missing widely.

"There she is, fellas. We'll take her down."

Quick can only get a clear shot at Kanto, which she takes, sending arcs of electricity curling around the priestess.

New Map Here Don't forget about your Bless bonuses, friends.

Will save :1d20=13 with a+2 from Rage that ends up being a 15.

If Brock can still act, he runs up to the lady throwing spells around in the center and uses a charge attack.

Attack: 1d20+6=25

Damage:1d12+10=12

Male Human (mostly) Ex-cleric and Grumpy Cat

Waren and Po engage the priest lady and Po delivers a nasty bite. Brock can't charge because of the many obstructions, but runs up the stairs to I16 and manages to strike Kanto a fierce blow. Quick's lightning misses on account of Brock being in the way. Spark is no more lucky, but at least he stops bleeding.

The priestess on the floor is getting desperate. Will a shrill voice she cries "Die, you vermin! Why won't you just die?" channeling negative energy for a whopping 1 point of damage (Will save vs 12 for none). She steps backwards to L19 and summons her illusory double again. Meanwhile her male colleague touches Spark again, and he dissolves into a flash.

The enraged Kanto spurts a string of curses at Brock and backs off to G16, healing herself fully.

Hessiah is up.

Male Human (mostly) Ex-cleric and Grumpy Cat

Hessiah moves to N16 and shoots a fire bolt at the priest who is now a clear target. Anyway he misses.

Juliare, Brock, Waren and Quick are up, preferably in order.

Male Half Elf ( want to make something of it !) Ranger 2

Juliare snarls behind his mask when he see Kanto healing herself
He move to L15 and shoots
Will save 14 , Attack 22 , Damage 7

Male Human (mostly) Ex-cleric and Grumpy Cat

Juliare's arrow seems to hit the real Kanto, for she groans with pain.

Waren, Brock and Quick are up, in any order.

Heh, I was trying to wait my turn. Turns.

Both Waren and Po seem able to fight off the evil wave of energy. They lash out with strikes of their own.

Waren lunges awkwardly with his shortspear, while Po gnashes wildly.

17 Touch Attack, 2 Damage.

Quick dashes about the room, trying to get a clear shot. Angry at the priest that struck Spark down, Quick instead focuses her next blast at them.

New Map here

Sorry for the late post crazy long day

Brocks will save: 1d20=14

Brock lets out a mighty roar of anger when the evil witch hag heals herself, and lunches forward axe pulled back over his head for a mighty over hand chop!

Attack: (1d20+6=15)

Damage: (1d12+10=11)

Male Human (mostly) Ex-cleric and Grumpy Cat

Waren and Po claw away at their adversary, while Brock follows Kanto to H16 and aims a heavy blow at her, but it is deflected by the shimmering force field around her. Quick's lightning sears the priest on the floor.

The priests retaliate. The evil witch hag curses Brock, deftly weaving her spell so as not to leave an opening. "Cursed be you, meddling vermin!" she hisses, stretching out her hand to touch Brock. Fortunately he manages to duck away in time.

The priest advances on Quick (to K14) and tries to touch her, but alas, he also fails to connect. The priestess backs away to K20 and cries: "I said, die, maggots!", again calling upon the power of death and causing 6 points of damage to everyone (including Kanto and the male priest because of her misjudgment). The priest manages to shrug it off but Kanto takes the full blast and looks rather annoyed. Will 13 halves

Hessiah, Juliare, Brock, Waren and Quick are up.

Male Half Elf ( want to make something of it !) Ranger 2

Juliare is aghast thinking that if Kanto does the same thing as the priestress , we are all dead.
We need to down her quickly , he thinks . Taking a long inspiration :
Attack 29, Damage 5
Possible critic! confirmation roll !
Attack 20 ; damage 17

For your information , I've just shouted before my computer :) )

Oh and Will save
will 14
but ouch nevertheless !

Brocks Will: (1d20=13) sorry I forgot to add the bonus to his will for rage again so it equals 15

Brock clenches his teeth as the magic washes over him, he knows he cant keep this rage up for much longer before his body gives out.

Brock again follows the Ugly Evil Witch Hag and makes for another swing of his mighty Axe!

Attack: (1d20+6=21)

Damage (1d12+10=18)

Lets kill this Ugly Evil Witch Hag guys lol, and nice hit Juliare!

Male Human (mostly) Ex-cleric and Grumpy Cat

Hessiah glances backwards toward the exit, but anyway half-heartedly he fires off a magic bolt in the direction of the priest, but it misses badly.

Juliare, on the other hand, fires a perfectly aimed arrow that hits Kanto straight in the eye... and pops the double. On the other hand, that leaves only one opponent for Brock and he strikes true, making the priestess wince.

Waren and Quick are up (and Po, if he lives).

I'm sorry, is Kanto dead? Is that what is meant by 'pops the double'?

Male Human (mostly) Ex-cleric and Grumpy Cat
Quick and Spark wrote:

No, I just meant that Juliare's attack hit the illusory double and destroyed it, leaving Kanto unharmed.

My fault. I thought perhaps you meant that her second eyeball popped out, or something. It was a long day. Po was brought down to 0 by the attack, but Waren casts Virtue, and brings him back to 1.

Waren manages to resist most of the damage, but Po takes the full attack of death energy. In response to the vile energy, Waren sidesteps, and infuses Po and himself with a little more power.

That boost is all the little critter needs before he's hopping up and down on the priest again. Po's bites and scratches quickly start to add up against the evil priest, dealing 2 damage.

Quick is unable to resist the waves of negative energy as they assail her body.

"You're real dead now!" she cries, sidestepping and curing herself of the damage.

New Map Here.

Male Human (mostly) Ex-cleric and Grumpy Cat

Kanto backs down the opposite side of the ziggurat to F16, giving up the attempt to curse Brock in order to heal herself again and to summon back her double. "Kill them! Kill them now!" she screams, frantic with excitement.

Obediently the priest separate in order not to hurt each other to K21 and L13 and each release a wave of negative energy. Brock, Juliare and Quick are hit for 2 points while Waren and Po take 3 points (Will save 13 for half). Both reactivate their doubles.

Hessiah pokes his head in (moving to M16) and hits the priest fighting Quick for 3 points.

Juliare, Brock, then Waren, Po and Quick.

Male Half Elf ( want to make something of it !) Ranger 2

Memo to self : 4 HP damage

Move to K16
Will save 13 , attack 27,Damage 9

Has Kanto healed herself completely ?

Male Human (mostly) Ex-cleric and Grumpy Cat
Juliare wrote:
Has Kanto healed herself completely ?

No, she still looks pretty ragged.

Juliare's arrow again eliminates her double.

Brock is up - and if he's got any hero points to spare, now would be a good time, I guess - then Waren and Quick.

Brock follows the Damed Ugly Hag! And uses his last round in rage and his hero point! To Kill!!

Attack:1d20+8=20 I added the +2 for the hero point

Damage: 1d12+10=19

I hope that did it guys because I just used up all my rageness

Once again, Waren resists the magic, but Po takes the full blast, knocking the poor critter unconscious.

Screaming and with little heed for his own safety, Waren advances upon his foe and thrusts his spear between the priest's ribs. For added pain, he tries to twist the spear, but ends up losing his grip.

Quick dodges out of the way of the horrible priest, and aims another blast at them, hoping to stop them. Kanto's screams do nothing but bolster her as she resists the evil magic.

New Map Here.

Male Human (mostly) Ex-cleric and Grumpy Cat

Brock virtually hurls himself at Kanto from the top of the ziggurat, and the axe blow proves too much for the evil priestess, who collapses like a ton of bricks. Waren spears the other priestess, but she fights on, touching Waren and making him bleed for 2 points. Quick's lighthning hits her male colleague, and he teeters at the verge of consciousness. He manages to stagger to M12 and heal himself somewhat.

Hessiah's fire bolt goes wide again.

Juliare, Brock, Waren and Quick have a chance to finish this before the guards get here (you hear the commotion outside).

Sorry for the delay in between Quick and Waren; In between their actions, I have to roll for Waren, Quick, and Po; in addition to updating the map in photoshop. Exporting it as a JPEG, uploading it to photobucket, double-checking everything, and checking my bbcode here. Sorry to ninja you BT! Even though I'm running both, there's lots happening behind the scene.
