Any way to pay besides credit cards?

Customer Service

I'd love to order some of the PDFs here on Paizo, but I don;t have a credit card (and won't be getting one anytime soon for various reasons).

Is there /any way at all/ I can somehow pay by a money order?

No way to pay by money order, but if you have an ATM card with the Visa or Mastercard logo on it (a debit card), those work just as well as a credit card.

We accept checks or money orders in US Dollars only, and only for non-subscription products. You'll need to figure out the shipping cost, and there are two ways to do that:

Go through the order process online—providing a shipping address so that postage gets calculated—right up to the point where you would enter the credit card information. Then, print off the web page (or write down the pertinent info), and send it with payment to the address below.
Contact our customer service department at (425) 289-0060 or e-mail us at customer.service@paizo.com; let us know what you want and where you want it shipped, and we'll calculate the shipping cost for you. Write down the pertinent info, and send it with payment to the address below.
Mail your order to:

It's one of our superpowers.

Is that Su, Sp, or Ex?

Well, whilst some might say the instant flow of currency using only the medium of free-flowing electrons verges on the miraculous, it is clearly neither magical nor a natural part of Pathfinder's body, so I'd have to settle for Extraordinary.

THANK YOU.

This *does* work for ordering PDFs too, right? It'll be shipped to my e-mail address rather than my 'real world' one?

Most sincerely,

Yes and no. Yes, it works for PDFs, but no, we don't e-mail the PDFs—they become available on your My Downloads page on paizo.com. When we process the order, you'll get an e-mail letting you know it's available.

Okay, thanks for clarifying that.

I was wondering if I'd done something wrong when I followed your advice for one copy of the Forgotten Realms Demihuman Deities PDF and saw nothing about postage.

It would be super if we could purchase via Paypal. I much prefer that to using my CC.

You can actually get a PayPal debit card that pulls funds from your PayPal account. My wife has one.

PayPal's processing regulations don't support many of the transaction types we use here; unless they change them significantly, direct PayPal support is not in the cards.

However, in addition to the branded MasterCards that Fatespinner mentioned, PayPal also has a virtual "Secure Card" program that lets US customers create single-use MasterCard numbers that function just like a MasterCard from our side, but draw from your PayPal account on your side. (Those do support most of the transaction types we use.) See PayPal's site for details.

I heard a rumor that they also accept payment in souls. Or was that the other guys?

Oh, we are perfectly able to take souls as a payment method. However, it does require that your soul be in the proper format so as to be compatible with our system. If it is, your compatible soul will be detected by our system and you will see your soul presented as a payment method on your next purchase. If your soul is not present or not compatible, then the option will not be available to you.

Your Paizo-compatible soul will nearly always be enough to pay for your Paizo purchases. However, in the case of a compatible soul which has already been leveraged to/for other entities and is therefore not sufficient to pay for much of anything, then please contact Paizo Customer Service to make other arrangements. A warning, however... the results of this procedure may not be pretty.

Thanks*,
cos

Spoiler:
*None of the above is in any way true. Except for the implication that Sebastian has sold his soul. 'Cause... c'mon... That's obvious.
Still gunning for that number one spot.
