Compatibility

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

I'm wondering about the compatibility of the Critical Hit & Miss Decks with the Pathfinder RPG. I know that most consider the PFRPG D&D 3.75, but I'm curious if the criticals are going to be different in enough of a way that the deck has to be revised?

I don't have the Fumble deck, but I think that most, if not all, cards in the Critical Hit Deck will work without any modification.

So far I don't think there will be any change. They primarily provide ability penalties and/or conditions, and none of these have been altered significantly enough that the decks won't work. I have yet to run across a result from the deck that would affect something that is now rolled into CMB, but this is the only scenario in which I could see it being an issue.

There might be one or 2 in the fumble deck that this may arrise, not sure, as I havn't seen enough of it in use to remember the results

We've actually sold out of the Critical Hit Deck, and when we reprint it, we'll be tweaking the few things that need to be tweaked for Pathfinder RPG compatibility. (I haven't seen the list of changes yet, but I'm told it's really small.)

Any chance that those of us who have the previous deck could get an errata or something?

It's in the plan!
