Wow! I just saw this thread--

Well, Mike, best of luck, though I'm sure you won't need any--talent over chance, any day!

I noticed that my favorite Gold Dragon Ninja hadn't been saying, "Can I interest you in some Paizo Products?" whenever someone complained about some other system. I just figured that he had his head burried in the pit and wasn't coming up for air much.

Miss you around this place man.

Liberty's Edge

I hear he's in this mound with all his knights, and when the time is right he'll return, start up the round table again, and usher in a new golden age of Camelot.

It is no fun to kick him when he is down (and expecting it). Wait until his back is turned.

James said in the chat last night that Mike has already submitted his adventure for PF14, so just because he's not in the pit doesn't mean he won't be writing. I'm excited to see what he does with a large adventure, since most of his Pathfinder stuff to date has been setting background and mechanics. James said there are some awesome encounters in it. Yay!

Best of luck to you, Mike! Perhaps he's attained that Ninja Prestige Class?

For Ninjas, there are no goodbyes, there are only jobs well done and a nice, warm cup of sake always full.

*Raises sake cup* A toast, "To jobs well done, Mike!"

As for the Abuse Nick Logue Decade, wouldn't watching re-runs of Lawrence Welk be more insidious?

I wish you the best of luck and skill in all that you do, Mike.

But..but...it's fun!

*Rolls up a Pathfinder#2 and whaps Nick with it*

I was hoping that the many changes in the industry would wash over Paizo without causing painful losses. Alas it was not to be.

I wish you well, Mike. You will be missed.

The Exchange

Nooooooooooooooooo! Mike was totally coooooooooooool!!!!!!!!!!

Why him? Take me? I have nothing to offer Paizo, take me!!!!

And then shouts, "Thank you sir, may I have another?"

There is a new emoticon in the chat room just for Mike. ^_^

Hey! I saw him! I ...?

Darn! Where'd he go?

The Exchange

You saw whom?

Sovereign Court

I think it was John Peter McAllister!

Looks around for the crafty ninja

Silver Crusade

Best of luck to him. I'm looking forward to seeing what he does next.

Does this mean we'll see an update to your site?

Bronze dragon pimp. They do use computers now.

Okay so that wasn't as funny as I first thought.

Mike, glad to hear you will still be contributing to Paizo.

Good luck on your new job.

The Last Rogue pulls out his trusty red pen and scratches Mike McArtors name off the 'SNEAK ATTACK WHEN POSSIBLE' list. His pen drifts over towards the 'PICKPOCKET WHEN POSSIBLE' list, hangs hesitantly above it like some carnival ride waiting to descend, then is jerked back and capped without striking the name from the list. One may as well wait to see McArtor's new salary before hastily omitting him from any future thefts.

BWAAHAHA.

Tis the sorry website of a ninja right there methinks!

Mike! NO!

I've been so busy with RL lately, I hadn't noticed he was gone, I just figured he was too busy to post with his usual regularity.

Yeah, same here. RL has been a terror, so I haven't been on the boards much. Then when I do show up, I hear in passing that Mike's left.

Mike, as one of favorites of the Paizo crew (and fellow anime otaku), you'll sorely be missed. Don't be a stranger to the forum, please.

Sorry for (comparatively) negative post in an otherwise love-fest. Carry on!

It wasn't I, O Terrible One!

I was just wondering where Mike McM had gone ... and stumbled on this Thread.

I figure he's just gone Smurfy on us. He'll pop up again soon.
