Thanks for the Heads up on the Errata. As Tira progresses her knowledge she thinks it's time to diversify and takes Jack of All Trades for a feat. And talking is her something she likes to do so Bequiling Tongue fits her pretty good.

Here's a fillable character sheet I found for any who are interested. It's not perfect, but the HP area and Skills area's parts work ok.

Updated as per book (havn't had chance to check out errata yet, will modify as needed)
I took two utilities (wizards get to learn two but can still only prepare one. I've asterixed the one I prepped). I took expeditious retreat and shield.
I took improved initiative.
Now I may actually stand a chance of hitting something in combat. Hehe.

I'm still looking/thinking and not coming up with a huge number of great options. the google excel sheet is the closest i got so far to something usable/free/availble.
I don't think it much worst than 3.x but at worst i will attempt ascii options (perhaps i'm just playing too much dwarf fortress and nethack at the moment)

Just so's I'm not bumping up the game thread without cause. From what I can tell with your map, the entrance to the canyon is only 20 feet wide? Easily something we could build a pallisade across or at least a thorn barrier to start with.
That would at least slow down natural critters but probably not humanoids for long. Still, a simple barricade across a 20ft expanse is something our artisans could probably handle while we cleared out the cave.
I'd also suggest some of them trying to find a site for a well so we don't need to keep foraging for water. Food is another issue that I don't have any suggestions for sorry.
I'm actually not sure who we have with us except for two miners and a jeweller.
Just my two cents. Will post on game thread when we have a pln together.

We have several artisans: Carpenter, Cartographer, Teamster, 2 Miners, Medic, Smith.
I agree with setting up defences while we explore the cave. I suggest that the cartographer, medic, and teamster find water in the area. The carpenter, miners, and smith look for stuff to barricade the entrance.

Hiya guys, I'll be travelling away today and tonight so won't be able to post for a day or two.
Logos, if combat breaks out feel free to play Armelio as you see fit. He has a number of powers to get himself out of danger (shield, sleep, thunderwave) and will use them if it won't affect the other players. Other than that, go crazy wiith the nervous little man.

The interface isn't great, but it's a searchable database of the character creation rules.

Level 3 is at 2250,gain an encounter attack power
Level 4 is at 3750,gain a feat
Level 5 is at 5500,gain a daily attack power
just for reference.
also unless you wanted the skill, most of the ranger stuff (ie powers) is focused around archery and twf (read being a badass) rather than nature stuff. Ymmv

Yeah, but I was otherwise going to take Skill Training:Athletics, so I might as well do it via multiclassing and get a nifty power with it!

hiya all,
hate to be a bit of an arse but I think I'm gonna have to pull out of this game. I've taken on a few games now and I just can't dedicate the time to all of them that's probably required (thus the all too brief response I sent last time). Two young kids at home and balancing work commitments mean I have to drop at least one of my personas and this is the one I'm least into at the moment.
Thanks for the game to date. Hope I'm not leaving you hanging too much (although it looks as if my presence couldn't stop the abduction anyway and they don't look too aggressive to Tira at this stage so you should be ok).

well if you want to get specific it was much more like

and yes it is a kobold ability, I was using kobold minions to stat up the mooks.
I generally like to leave that under the hood, but is that clear?
