When they do post the news, could someone post it here ?
Thanks
Would you believe LPJ posted at 1:30 this:
LPJ Design’s Secret Pathfinder Project Announcement slightly delayed...
Sorry we are working with the cover and We should have it up as soon as possible. Sorry for the wait...
Anybody surprised by that?

Find it more Ironic than suprising really.
Edit
and surprise surprise a tasteless (and to be completely honest pathetically weak) April fools joke

Wow. Just wow.
That was the most unfunny, potential customers alienating April's Fool joke I ever saw.
Quite frankly, I think it's a very bad business decision to play with and then disappoint the hopes of the people who have been waiting for Razor Coast so long.
It kinda was to be expected, but nevertheless. Just weak.

Yeah, won't be buying from this guy, ever.
What an utterly, utterly classless move.
To top it off, he apparently is "editing" his blog comments (selecting which ones to include and which ones not to)...as I wrote the simple comment of
"Not funny. -Aberzanzorax"
It WAS there (so he approved it), as was another post by "anonymous"...but those have disappeared.
Just douchey move after douchey move.

+1..... A joke. Nice. Wish I could get my money back for the lousy pieces of s%$# I bought from his company already. Jerkwad....

Wow. That was pathetic.
And I can mark LPJ off of the list of 3rd party publishers whose products I will buy.
Check.
Same here. I;m considering an actual snail mail letter certifited with ripped up products sent back.
Poking a stick into a bunch of folks already annoyed was a bad idea.

Accurate prediction, or plagiarized "prank" when realizing the original prank would have horribly backfired?

Well, there must have been some kind of RC product in store. I supposed the cougar guess could have been swapped in last second in place of RC Cola: The Factory Tour a 7th level psychological horror adventure.

Oh, the humanity....
Or something. LJP seems to have it in for Logue for whatever reason (possibly because Nick refudiated his offer to take over RC, possibly) so I guess his better judgement deserted him.
I don't think something can desert you when you didn't have any to begin with :/

I watched 39 seconds of it and stopped it. I don't care what he has to say.

Damage control would have been a page yesterday saying the product was "Really Contrite" as he noticed how bad it was going to explode on him as soon as it was announced.
I've made some bad jokes before, but this just generated bad will.

Let me start with saying that I don't have a dog in this race, so take my view for what it is.
I'll admit that I don't have a lot of experience with LPJr, or his company. I have had a small amount of interaction with Mr Logue. From the tone of his post here I agree LPJr is biased against Logue, and yes the April Fools prank was a dig at him. I did watch the apology, and it does seem sincere. IMO, for whatever it's worth, I think that Louis is just really pissed that a product that he himself was jazzed about disappeared without so much as a goodbye kiss.
I guess having had my prank blow up makes me a little more forgiving about it, but I'd be willing to give Mr Porter and his company another shot. If I'd be willing to do the same for Mr Logue, and his mistake was greater in my eyes, how could I not?

Carbonated elementals .. half-soda elemental demons having their way with animal companions and familiars during "rest periods" .. it'w not right ...
Oh the fizzy terror of it all!
The adventure's actually kind of easy to beat if you just fix the boiler in the basement, turn up the heat, and hide for 24 hours... all the elementals go flat.

Yeah but the Cola Elemental and Moon Pie Golem guarding the boiler are a tough combo to beat.

Yeah, it was a bit of a dick joke, but he did apologize, so it's square with me. Most industry people that screw up never bother to honestly apologize, so props for that.
He apologzied, he took responsibility for it. And while thats good enough for me, I still have a hard time believing he didnt see the trainwreck coming just looking around the boards, he owned up. Good enough.

The carbonated elementals count as being "sealed" until reduced below half hp. Now they're just unpalatably warm thanks to the furnace trick ...

Death by mentos ? Ouch!

I think if he wanted to come across as sincere he wouldn't have throw in a few jabs at Nick in an apology for making a complete arse out of himself...
Luckily I just caught all this about twenty minutes ago. I can't even imagine how pissed I'd be if I'd actually thought this was going to happen. At this point, I'm not so much angry, as just completely blown away by the level of stupidity...it's like watching someone point a loaded gun at their foot, take the safety off, pull the triger...and then put a youtube video up about "I just can't believe this turned into what it did."
I don't know, maybe he was trying to take some of the heat off Nick...give everyone someone else to hate...

At least LPJr publishes material, no matter how poorly edited. And if the announcement was dated for April 1st, and you didn't see the joke coming...well, you guys still believe Razorcoast is going to be published too.
Maybe you should be angry at Nick Logue, or hey, yourselves.
It's entirely possible to be mad at Logue for letting you down, mad at yourself for being patient this long, AND angry LPJr for being a jerk all at once which is what he managed to accomplish.
Being a jerk is not "Haha April Fools", it's just being a jerk.

I'll say this. There were attempts to mollify us by saying "Hey, no problem, Nick will give refunds". Well, I've been trying since last November. His last message to me was about 2 months ago w/ a "any day now!".
There appears to be at least 1 poster who actually got a refund. Congratulations on winning the lottery, b/c I don't imagine many people who asked for these fabled refunds ever got them.
