1. Finish writing my PhD thesis.
2. Publish a couple of articles.
3. Play a kickass barbarian who tears goblins to tiny pieces.
4. Never insult anyone on these boards over their opinion of 4e (pro or con).
5. Make y'all laugh at least once.

I would like to exercise more; I don't look bad, but I think getting it under control and making a routine is a wise idea.

Develop a strong portfolio of fantasy illustration stuff.

Find a day job that isn't retail or something terrible like that so that I can move back into the city.

Get a serious lady friend. Maybe. If possible.

Liberty's Edge

I think I'll lose 10 pounds, start jogging some, and quit eating so much bad stuff; my cholesterol is borderline, and I need to quit screwing around.
I'm also going to quit letting people push me around like a doormat so much. It's like, I back off because I'm afraid of what I'll say (more than what I'll do) when I'm angry. To hell with it. I have a right to be angry sometimes, and run my yap.

You sir, have contradictory resolution conflicts. Big trouble. You attention span won't help, either.

The former comes from the latter.

21. Learn why and how I kill threads and how to stop.

...sigh...

1.Live

yep; get through the year alive; live, love, and make peace with my situation. Am in the middle of what CourtFool stated, sigh, be nice to find someone to love that loves me back, but I dont know that that is a resolution, more like a hope or dream.

I resolve to stop ridiculing christians. I further resolve to be nice to Americans during their descent into fascism and fundamentalism. I also resolve to sort out my MtG commons into editions and start using miniatures in my D&D game. I would also like to learn how to say "how dare you cut in line in front of me?" and "this is a pedestrian crossing. You can wait!" in Mandarin.

Dark Archive

Be happy.

Survive.

And finish once and for all at least one of those blasted D&D campaigns I'm writing, they're starting to pile up ominously.

Scarab Sages

1... Lose some weight & exercise more.

2... Finish MS and begin PhD.

3... Finish 1st book and submit to publishing.

4... Get my E.A. rating with the IRS.

5... and some other stuff too not worth mentioning.

Thoth-Amon

1. Stop smoking
2. Restart my painting
3. Start writing again

5. Take a vacation with my girls
6. Stop smoking

1. Stop procrastinating.

I plan on starting this on the 4th or the 5th or so, if I can get around to it.

I will become a necromancer that will destroy the world! Bwahahaha!!!
BOOM
Done! Now what do you guys think I should also resolve to--
Um, guys?

Look at all the dead!

That is it. I am now mad.

Cease and desist! That is an order! This is not funny! You have incurred the wrath of Kobold Cleaver today!

Honestly, you didn't even spell it right...

Thank you. It's not polite to make fun of the doomed.

Call the furball and the lizard, we got two of them now!!

1) Gain weight.
2) Teach self Arabic (I picked up a book the other day, just 'cuz.)
3) Improve English handwriting before attempting to not mutilate Arabic alphabet.
4) Wake up when the alarm goes off.

Edit: 5) Sort out brainmeats. They need sorting. Bad.

Who are you calling 'lizard', you rolling psychotic...umm...'lizard-calling-guy'?

I could put down the plethora of resolutions I have for myself this year, but I think they can be summed up in four words- Less talk, more rock!

Ok, it is time for the first quarter update.

How are we all doing ??

Liberty's Edge

I been taking less crap from people.

I think about Fight Club, where he gave them the homework assignment to go "try and get in a fistfight." So I look for people to not beat up, but just have uncomfortable discussions with.

I've got a day job (at least, until August: after that, maybe/maybe not) and a few drawings published/about to be published. So I guess I'm doing okay.
