Mal was angry. Nobody wanted to talk to
him about what happened on that gorram planet.
The deal had gone south, as usual, and
his ship's engine needed some parts tremendous bad.
With the money low and the Reavers on
the warpath, landing on the planet which their
intuition warned them against, they took another stiff
from the freezer and shot it out of
the vent tube. "Is the weight down enough
take on the latest loser passenger who's gonna
please me in ways to make Paris Hilton
blush. Just then a Reaver warship came spiralling
out of the black, and Jayne, who had
been hitting the hooch all morning fell out
of the bunk he had been sharing with
a classic colt carbine and a sexy Asian
lithograph. "I ain't fightin' no gorram reavers!" he
exclaimed, as the carbine went off in his
hand, shooting through the deck above where Kayleigh
was pressing her naughty bits against the vibrating
doctor. Suddenly, River walked through the hatch, screaming
as raw psionic power issued from her pulsating
heaving bosoms. "I'll be in my bunk," Jayne
said, breathing heavily, perhaps because of his near
death experience getting stabbed by that crazy
Alliance loyalist in a seedy dive on that
last planet they had visited. “You just got
a new lease on life. Make it count,
'cause I ain't gonna be so forgivin' next
time you near shoot Kaylee, understand?” said Mal
"I've got no idea what you're talking about"
said Jayne. "I didn't shoot nobody. I didn't
even scare her. I wore my good pants."
Mal grimaced. He was allready in a bad
man’s paradise, being surrounded by these nubile young
ships. Serenity seemed old in comparison. Nevertheless, he
liked the way she handled herself in a
uncontrolled atmospheric entry after a catastrophic power failure.
Sure, she didn't look like much, but hell;
neither did Wash, and look who he got
to go home with. Gorram some people just
get all the luck. Some guys get all
hot and bothered when they catch Inara washing
luggage, while others like to oil a classic
carbine and kill the dicks who canceled Firefly.
