Just to recap: it’s first light, the day is just starting, and the group is standing around a melted inn encapsulating the corpse of yet another friendly face they’ve killed by association, while trying to keep anyone from noticing they’re carrying a dead halfling and enough iron to purchase a small city-state.

Run away?

'RUN AWAY!' (Spamalot rocks!)

Sir Robin runaway! Runaway away away, oh brave Sir Robin!
When danger reared its ugly head
Sir Robin turned tail and fled!"

Have the movie, btw :D

Circling the drain, rofl. Might just assume you know where a few boltholes are at this rate. ;)

Aso is pleased he doesn't have to pay his tab.

"Malaki, know of a way out of the city the templars are not aware of?"

Based on the slightly out of date information you know about Raam, and what you can gather by questioning / threatening passerby, you know of at least three locations that might allow temporary respite:

Dirt Naps:

Spoiler:
The owner of this establishment advertises the best rooms on the cheap in Raam. He lies. Generous descriptions of this dilapidated tenement include “hovel” and “shanty,” but it is inexpensive, and semi-private. At two ceramic bits a day, room availability is subject to change, as renting a room typically consists of emptying the current occupants and holding the space against newcomers. For an extra ceramic bit, the “staff” will provide a lice ridden blanket, a leather bucket latrine, and a wooden bar to hold the door shut, assuming your room comes with a door. Gangs of armed thugs evict all guests promptly at first light.

Inn Between:

Spoiler:
This five story complex is built straight upwards, rather than outwards. Wedged between an administration building and a pottery manufacturer, the Inn Between utilizes the empty space of a former alley. Although room space is at a premium, one ceramic a day nets you a comfortable mat, access to shared bathroom facilites, and a small meal of bread and water. Privacy can be an issue, as the lodging consists of skeletal scaffolding connected to the adjacent clay walls with anchored stone flooring.

Shahtoosh:

Spoiler:
A decadent gambling den cum bordello, the back rooms of Shahtoosh offer the last word in privacy in exchange for exorbitant fees. Liberal bribes, well-paid sentries, and if the rumors are true, a little magic, keep the scandalous vices of the wealthy away from inquisitive eyes and ears. Basic rates start at one silver per person per hour, no exceptions, and climb steadily based on amenities rendered. Hung from the ceiling in gold filigree is the maxim: “If you don’t find your pleasure worth the price of admission, you probably aren’t doing it correctly.”

Reunited with the party, the weapons protest loudly at any mention of leaving the city. Probably the first time they’ve ever agreed on anything. A random passerby stops to glare at the party, but Aso waves him off by shaking Issiki’s corpse, an unnerving sight in a city where bodies don’t typically remain dead long.

Schenker lunges at Radick. His bone knife would've gone right into Radik's eye straight into his brain killing him instantly, if Radick didn't sneeze at that precise moment.

M Human Fighter 3 / Binder 2

Radik takes another swipe at Shenker, but his assault is interrupted by another violent sneeze.

male human lvl 6 +1la human; 5lvl rogue xp 15,00--21,000 next levelup

Schenker tries to skewer the head of Radik when it thrusts forward, sneezing, when he is startled by the loud sneeze/shout that Radik proffers, almost more of a Karate 'kiai' than a sneeze.
He slips on some detritus and falls over.

M Human Fighter 3 / Binder 2

Radik lunges at the smaller man, but trips over Shenker's sword and takes a digger into the dirt.

He can almost hear a faraway voice (which, strangely, sounds much like Avery Brooks) laughing at him.

'

If you're maturity and civilization, then I'd hate to see childish and anarchy.
And quit chewing on the dead halfling, will you!
Save some for the rest of us!

Just keep me posted as to which direction you go for (including fleeing the city, if need be).

"C...c...come on! The f...f...f...foot just f...f...frackin' fell off!"

Aso swallows suspiciously when he thinks nobody is looking.

"The foot fell off... and I'm a templar!"

Halfling on a stick, you might have something there. Or, you might just be a party of twisted freaks eating your former teammate. Who am I to judge…? Certainly saves on funeral costs, but will it keep you regular?

Good question... Aso he needs more salt.

I love the logic here. It would be wrong not to eat Issiki. Funny stuff. You're right though, of course. I was totally going to animate him. I could still kick myself in the arse for even reminding Kruelaid his corpse was there.

Raw or grilled?

Male Human (Athasian mutant) Psion3/Wiz1

I prefer my Halfing, Medium Well. :)

Faindriac nods at the Kreens reasoning. HE just makes the fact that we NEED to become cannibals seem so reasonable!

"Agreed. Whichever suits the majority best. But not here!' He hisses emphatically, pulling his hood up to cover his features as he tries to urge his comrades to move along.

I agree, the Inn Between is probably for the best.

We'll go there. I'm unanimous in this decision. Let's go!!!

You've been taking leaves out of Arctaris' book. We've had people drop out of the game, then BAM!, they're zombies. Advanced zombies. Ow.

My cookbook suggests cooking steak to medium rare for best results.

Need more time? I'm semi-assuming you've wandered off talking amongst yourselves, so as not to attract unwanted attention in front of Tik's.

Perhaps after we have dinner.
