To address the original post, the online Dungeon materials are very late in arrival. The S4 Tsojcanth revamp due in October, was not completed until November, and I get the sneaky feeling that these late arrivals are going to become a common problem. That being said, at 90+ pages it was quite thorough, and the S4 revamp could never have fit into Paizo's Dungeon at 90 pages, though if they'd have dropped their Idiotic 'Delve' format, they probably could have cut the page count down considerably.

Merry Christmas to you too Allen . . . nothing quite like a kick to the kidneys when a guy is down to say the holidays are here . . . ;)

Anytime my friend:) All humor aside, I certainly wish you and yours a pleasant holiday season.

And given that it is the holidays, you must be frothing at the mouth for the opportunity to fork over yet another $35 for the new 4.0 FR book, due out next summer, that likely reprints most of what the last few books covered in 3.5... only updated with 4.0 stats:) And Greyhawk still doesn't get a book even though the last one sold extremely well.

Actually, 2008 is probably the first year in a long time that its looking like I'll not be buying any FR RPG products. Fourth edition may actually be the best thing to happen to Greyhawk, because once they get finished cramming 4th edition logic into the Realms, when they have to get back to basics for 5th edition, Greyhawk will be waiting for them relatively unblemished . . .

And another thing Errant Jr., I don't know whatever happened to Bruce Cordell (mentioned above in your post). He used to be the most revered name at WoTC with his incredible adventures in the late 90's. Now he's been reduced to: Writing Gooberon adventures; Scrapping hallmarks of the game while designing 4.0; and helping Greenwood write his latest $35 waste of paper.
Maybe you can talk some sense into the man...

My Jaw has Hit the floor. The implications of you not purchasing any FR products is too astounding for my tiny mind to fully grasp.

That's an interesting idea Errant Jr. I hope you are correct, (about Greyhawk that is), but I suspect that the perceived (by me) dislike (by WoTC) for the Greyhawk setting will not pan out to much unless the WoTC brass changes.

You really think that if 4th edition tanks they will still be around for 5th?

I honestly have no idea Errant Jr what would happen, nor of who will be holding the chips if 4th ed does flop. You tell me.

If 4th edition does flop, I'd hope for Mona, Jacobs and co., to somehow get control of things. Or failing that, I'll go with Castles & Crusades, as Gygax and co. are running that show last I heard.

I've frequently had the feeling that many of these designers and "powers-that-be" at WoTC seem to always stick around, no matter what goes wrong or what lousy decisions they make/products they design.
