Is there Any word on when The Replacments will be sent?

I got mine with my missing issue 358 just the other day. It was postmarked sept 11 (that one month in the mail, a new low for the US and/or Canadian postal service).

Could you clarify? Did you receive the "original" 358, or was it a replacement with the poster from 359 added? If its the original, Vic Wertz might like to know.

Replacements, both.

I assume my originals are somewhere in Windsor, ON, with every other Canadian subscriber's.

Just read your Giant Poster mssing thread. Got excited that mine might show up soon, but sounds like your replacements were sent out before they realized the scope of the problem and went for the "systemic correction". Oh well. At least there's the pleasure of knowing that at some point I too will have the chance to hold and read one last really well put together Dragon. Enjoy your mag :)

I am (was) an Australian subscriber and have not received my Dragon #358 and the poster was also missing in #359. I only realised something was amiss a couple of days ago (my mags usually take forever to get here) so I emailed customer service but I've yet to hear back from anyone. What's the situation with replacements? I have just read through all the posts this thread but couldn't see a definitive answer. I'm a bit peeved no one has replied to my email.

Eddicat,

I've replied to your email. We've been pretty backed up in that department, and apologize for the wait!

As for the Canadian poster and Dragon #358, we are still working with our printer to get more information. We are inquiring fairly regularly, and will be sure to let everyone know once we have something concrete to report.

Thank you, I have just received your email. One question though - How come it takes so long to get an answer out of your printer? Sounds fishy to me!

I've said it once, I'll say it again:

My guess it no. I'm Canadian and did not receive 358 or the giant poster. My issue of 359 was totally sealed as well...I blame it on border guarding goblins...with scrolls of teleport...

Please add me to the growing list of people that require a replacement 358 and a giant poster.

Thanks.

Seriously...my potions of patience are running out. When am I getting my poster and missing issue? Time to behead the parties at fault.

Really What sort of tameframe are we talking here for the issues to be mailed out... and the posters.

Before Christmas?
Early Next year?

Haven't seen anything here yet. Had a problem a while back and the issues didn't show up for 3 months though.

just adding my stick to the fire: no 358, and no giant poster for 359.

my theory is the shipper hoped not sending 358 would mean the last issue of the mag would never arrive and dragon wouldn't end. Sounds silly, but it's kinda like mag-lichdom. hmm...

anyway: yay, more issues for me!!!

Hey everyone:

Well, we have done some research and it seems like the issues heading to Canada disappeared off the face of the earth. At least nobody can seem to find them. So the printer, who was responsible for getting the issues to you guys in Canada, are having to go back to the presses and print more Dragon 358's. Once they are printed, then they will make their way to Canada and to subscribers. This was the only way that we could do this, because we don't have enough back issues to fulfill all the Canadian orders. Thankfully, the printer was willing to make a small print run so that our Canadian customers will get their issues.

So patience will have to be in order for a while longer. Also, we are sending a couple of boxes of the Dragon 359 poster to the printer and they are going to include them in the Dragon 358s as they get shipped out.

I'll try to keep you all in the loop as we learn more and have firmer dates for everything. Sorry that this happened on the next to the last issue, but it was out of Paizo's control. You know what they say about Murphy's Law and all that.

Thanks again for your loyalty and support.

-Lisa

I am not a Canadian and I have my issue, but all I want to say is WOW!!! You all at Paizo are doing that?!? Good work Lisa and Paizo.

~thinks for a minute~ Ok. So I do have "issues", but still, you all know what I meant. ~grins~

Thanks for the update, Lisa, and as Sharoth indicated, Paizo has once again proven its stellar customer service. And for the record, I did receive my replacement Dragon issue #358 and missing poster together about a month or so ago.

Thanks for the update Lisa. Its a lot easier waiting when I know what's in the works.

Great to Hear.
Thanks Lisa

Looking forward to seeing one more dragon in print

Most of the credit here goes to our magazine printer, R.R. Donnelley. There's still some question as to who actually had the magazines last—Donnelley, their Canadian remailer, or the intermediate shipping company—but Donnelley stepped up to reprint these issues on their own dime.

What's especially impressive about this is that, because we're no longer publishing magazines, we're no longer doing regular business with Donnelley—so they really are doing it solely because it's the right thing to do.

Lisa & Vic,

Thank you for the updates on this thread. I said it on Cosmo's thread, but this is great news.

Thank you for all of your work on the great magazines before they went away.

Cheers [:)]

A Halloween treat! This is candy for the soul.
A strange set of circumstances, but its wonderful to see the hard work going into helping out the customers.
Thank you to everyone involved.

Thanks, both to Paizo and to Donnelly for replacing our lost magazines. Great customer service!

Very good news! I'm glad I'll finally be able to get to see #358.

Hey y'all:

We got confirmation from our printer that they mailed out all the Canadian copies of Dragon #358 on November 9th along with the poster from Dragon #359. So start looking for them to show up in your mail boxes!

Great news! But I'd like to know if you sent them to the old Dragon-suscription shipping addresses, or if you used the actual addresses? I moved at about the time pathfinder #2 shipped. I changed my address on my account, and received #1 about 40 days after it was shipped. I got #2 on time, and am looking forward to #3.

Were almost 4 months since the issue 358's ETA, and it would be a shame if no one at paizo thought to check the shipping addresses for your ongoing subscriptions.

Before I send you any more of my hard earned canadian money, I will wait for your slo-mo customer service to do it's job....

Hi Cybern,

I just replied to your email. I apologize that my response was a bit slower than normal!

Well I received 358 a few months back as a reship. Will they still send me the poster since I won't be getting 358 shipped to me again?

For the record, Issue 358 arrived in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario on friday, Nov 23. Yee-haw! Once again, thanks to all the Paizo folks (esp. Corey and Cosmo) for taking such good care of us.

I just got my issue 358 with poster in the mail today!
In a way, it was kind of nice for it to be so delayed, I got a chance to have a brand new dragon to read months after the last issue.

But, I'd really like to thank you guys for amazing service. Please pass the thanks on to Donnelley aswell. You are both top notch.

I got it!!

It came yesterday!!

Got it!Got it!Got it!Got it!Got it!

Good job Paizo. This is tremendously more satisfying than any other resolution.

Bit of sad nostalgia feeling though, kinda like getting a letter from someone you know has already died :(

Guess I rolled low for initiative again; I should have posted sooner. Got mine on Wednesday.

Thanks much.

Friggin Canada Post. I'm still waiting in wild, untamed, only recently explored reaches of southern Alberta. Really, I gotta be careful I don't trip and fall into the States, but with the mail I sometimes feel like I live in a Point of Light(TM).

Gatineau(Aylmer sector), Quebec: got it friday!

Huzzar!

And the poster, thanks for all the work! Applause to the fine folks at Paizo and their customer service, this is one happy customer.

My sister tells me that it got delivered to my parents' place (in Ottawa) a few days ago, and it contains the poster map. Thanks guys.

Heh, I knew if I complained yesterday, it would arrive today. Thanks for to you guys and your printers for setting this right!

Finally, I got mine two week ago.
