Okay, time for another Street Fighter theme, because it turns out that that well runs richer than I ever knew!

Seth's Theme

Hideyuki Fukasawa

Hips Don't Lie (feat. Wyclef Jean)

Shakira

Sects

Anthrax

Scarab Sages

Of all the Mind's Eye videos, I have to judge this one as the LEAST "Mind's Eye" of them all...despite their repeatedly singing that very term.

Aspen Moon

Kerry Livgren

Grand Lodge

Last Entertainment (T.V. Bizarre)

Coroner

Man, this album is sooooooooooo good. Such an underrated band.

Dark Archive

Cheater, Cheater

Joey + Rory

Joey has cervical cancer and they have stopped all treatment. :( She hopes to see the Grammy's this year.

Scarab Sages

Jedah's Theme

Chemicals React (Simlish version)

Aly & AJ

Great song, but figured I'd post the Simlish version for hilarity. Also, cause of the awesome story behind it. When EA approached Aly & AJ to do a song for the Sims 2 Pets expansion they told them to submit the song and they would translate it, then give it back to them to record. They said basically that there was no need, they are huge Sims fans and can speak and understand Simlish fluently. So they just recorded the song themselves without needing to submit to EA ahead of time like every other featured artist... and this is the official video made in Sims 2.

Scarab Sages

The Man Who Fell to Earth has flown back home.

Ashes to Ashes

David Bowie

Ground Control to Major Tom: You really made the grade!

Dancing in the Streets

Magic Dance

David Bowie

How long can we keep it Bowie? Assuming everyone is interested.... Just try not to post the same songs of course.

Blackstar

David Bowie

This is his first (and final) music video, title track from the album released on his 69th birthday.

Grand Lodge

Bowi

Nick Lowe

Sure, this is a bit of a cheat (it's an EP, rather than just one song), but it's a good one - after David Bowie released the "Low" LP, Nick Lowe went ahead and released this in one of the funnier moments of musical one-upmanship I can think of. It has some cool songs on it, too!

Scarab Sages

Ladies In Their Sensitivities

Alan Rickman (RIP) and Timothy Spall

It may be one of his least likable roles, but it's also one of his most musical.

And now for something very different...

All About Us (Unreleased Demo)

The Veronicas

This isn't actually a cover, it's as I said above the unreleased demo. They wrote it and did this demo, but decided to not actually record the song officially and instead sold it to t.A.T.u

Voices

The Emperor Machine

Scarab Sages

If I may bring up a rather tender subject....

Eddie

Richard O'Brien

One Thing

Dave Gahan and Soulsavers

Goodbye So Soon

Vincent Price

I met Vincent's daughter Victoria at a special showing of House of Wax she was holding in Santa Fe a couple Halloweens ago. I got in for free by serving as a costumed doorman (I was Baron Samedi that year). She's still a substantive individual in show business, and was able to requisition one of the only two or three special original 3-D viewing screens left in the world for the show. I got to talk to her personally afterwards, and I was later informed I'd made a good impression!

Valerie

Pretty Girls Make Graves

The correct answer to that is "either". V or P, it's up to you.

Scarab Sages

One of two songs that didn't make it into A Muppet Christmas Carol. I'm afraid I can't say I disagree with the final decision. :/

Room In Your Heart

Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and Beaker

Yeaaaaah that's pretty bad. So speaking of bad...

Born to be Bad

The Runaways

Grand Lodge

Rotting Misery

Paradise Lost

The Path of Thorns

Sarah McLachlan

I like her first few albums better than her more recent stuff, which seems kind of bland to me...

Scarab Sages

How does one handle "Mc's" in this game? I've usually tried to adhere to a policy of "last name's letter if the artist is an individual's proper name."

Regardless, let's try something that actually made the cut into its movie this time....

Sailing for Adventure

Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil

Bridges Over Borders

The Spoons

Sister of Pain

Vince Neil

Very Far From The Home I Love

Edit: Really?! It's part of the guy's name, for pete's sake! Oh, well...

Scarab Sages

Yes, well it also happens to be a rude word for lesbian. Poor ol' Dickie...(who is still alive and well, by the way!)

Doctrine Dark's Theme

Shinji Hosoe, Ayako Saso, Takayuki Aihara, and Yasuhisa Watanabe

Grand Lodge

Hunter

Yeah that's the problem with profanity filters... necessary evil. The Star Wars Old Republic profanity filter is a 'smart' filter that tries to catch attempts to mask profanity. So, Here is just a few legitmate things you can say that are censored.

OPS 7pm ********!
Yes! I just got the ************ title!
My gunslinger is ************ skill tree!

The offending words are, in order Saturday, Bar'sen'thor, sharpshooter.

Ironically, assassin they actually fixed to not trip the filter, showing it's possible to make exceptions, they just don't care enough to fix anything other than that class name despite me sending them a bug report about it every month for three years (every month since launch. Beta didn't have a profanity filter.)

Years ago on these forums, the word "cock" would trip the profanity filter, which led to the phrase "obscene head gesture" being used from time to time over in the play-by-post section.
