I Have The Power
performed by He-Man and She-Ra
Damn. If this is not the most 80s thing ever, I don't know what is.

Well, that's just great, Vatnisse! You've given me 80's flashbacks again! When even theme songs for children's programming had guitar solos! Now I've got to go dig up my Rubik's Cube...
Talking in Your Sleep
The Romantics
Reelin in the Years
Steely Dan (with a Bill Cosby cameo)
This video plays the song twice in a row, for some reason.
Strangers in the Night
Burt Kaempfert (and Frank Sinatra)
Frank Sinatra
Miss Kittin & The Hacker
Hooked On You
Albert Collins
Me and My Shadow
Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr.
Damned For All Time/Blood Money
Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber
Tanz Mit Mir
Faun (mit Santiano)
Master of Sins
Mystic Prophecy
What Would Brian Boitano Do?
Trey Parker and Matt Stone
I also recommend the Sonic the Hedgehog-ized version on newgrounds.com.
Angel of the Morning
Juice Newton
Early 80's bubble gum country/pop... the kind that you can't get away from if you're in the wrong place at the wrong time (doctor/dentist's office, grocery store, elevator, etc.)
Angel Island Zone
Brad Buxer et al
(including, possibly but dubiously, Michael Jackson! The Internet does teach you things)
Bells
Jean Michel Jarre
Yet another of JMJ's over-the-top on-site concerts. The man knows how to put on a show, but his megalomania leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth.
Just Can't Get Enough
DMK
This guy has apparently grown a pretty good sideline playing some very DIY covers of Depeche Mode with his kids. I love it!
Sandwiches
Detroit Grand Pubahs
Totally weird but I love it
American Life
Primus
Odd, odd factoid - before forming Primus with Les Claypool and Tim Alexander, Larry LaLonde played guitar in Bay Area hyper-Satanic death/trash metal pioneers Possessed. Talk about changing styles...
Pencilneck Geek
"Classy" Freddie Blassie
Back in Time
Huey Lewis and The News
Shia LaBeouf
Rob Cantor
This is the best song ever made. It is, obviously, funny because it is true.
Also - the Span frontman, Jarle Bernhoft, is from my little burg (I don't know him. My sister does, though). These days he does white-boy soul music; I liked Span a lot more.
'Y' thank you, I'd been needing that!
Yeti Theme from Gauntlet: Dark Legacy
Joe Lyford
Methinks it is time for some German punk-y rock.
Liebeslied
Die Toten Hosen
Die Toten Hosen; my German's not what it should be, but..."The Dead Pants?"
Tower Theme from Heroes of Might and Magic III
Paul Anthony Romero
Raise Your Fist
Rancid! (didnt know theyd released a new record!)
I had no idea either. Nice song, too. And, yeah, die toten Hosen = "the dead pants". Which may be odd, but better than having living pants?
Run If You Can
Accept, off the best metal album of the 1980s. So there.
S.S.C./Stand Or Fall
Anthrax, off the second best metal album of the 80s. The rankings get murkier after that.
Holy Diver/Mob Rules/Seventh Son of a Seventh Son/Powerslave/Metal Church/Ride the Lightning/Killing is My Business.../Scream Bloody Gore/Danzigs first solo/ I cant really say which ones I put at top. Others?
With Breaker and Spreading The Disease established at the top, they are followed by, in no particular order, Operation: Mindcrime, British Steel, Wheels Of Steel, Ride The Lightning, any Slayer record (Reign In Blood is the obvious pick, but I'm partial to Hell Awaits), Heaven And Hell, Cause Of Death, The Number Of The Beast and Rust In Peace. Blizzard Of Ozz probably belongs in there somewhere too, and (maybe) The Headless Children.
Long Live the Loud/Racer X/Thunder in the East/Blackout/See You in Hell/UNDER THE BLADE!
Exquisite Dead Guy
They Might Be Giants
ME-262
Blue Öyster Cult
This is another amazing album, BTW.
