Status of magazines:

Dungeon 149 - not arrived yet
Dragon 358 - arrived on 20/08/2007
Dungeon 150 - not arrived yet
Dragon 359 - not arrived yet

I also got the impression that TPFG delivers some mags erratically to keep the audience quiet - y´know, at the moment, the customers are happy if they recieve anything.

At which point does paizo officially consider the copies lost? I´m normally an relatively patient person, but my patience slowly gets eroded. If I get my print copy of Pathfinder before the magazines, my patience will come to an end.

Yes, my thoughts exactly - esp. for Dungeon 149&150.

(Although I'm afraid to say it out loud, because, you know - that might make Pathfinder arrive even later than it would normally!)

I take that for irony... The cool folks at paizo won´t let us down like that, its TPFG that is to blame.

Same status here.

Dragon 358 just took one day longer to arrive.
Nothing else arrived yet.

I am feeling really irritated for the previously mentioned reasons.
Just four days left here in Germany and I am still not interested in paying for magazines which will never arrive me! :((((((((((

A bit of thread-jacking:

I am interested in your impressions of Monte Cook's World of Darkness.
Would you like to share your opinion here in the Paizo product discussion thread?
I am still hesitant about the book.

Thanks!

Yeah, I just realized (through other threads) that Pathfinder is already shipped to some subscribers! Why not to me? Do they not ship simultaneously to all customers?! If I just could download my pdf to take it with me on vacation...
What's happening here, or did I miss some special announcement on these boards by Paizo? Anyone?!

Have a look at this thread, most is explained there.

Thanx, Stefan!

Still no dungeon 149/150 in France.

Dark Archive

Friday, no Dungeon or Dragon here yet again!

In one week I am going on vacation, it is starting to become a bad joke that a lot of us European folk don't have our magazines yet! By now I do not even expect it to arrive by the end of next week.

Nothing... Nada no 149 no 150 here in Holland,

I did get the crit hit deck in less then 10 days..

Please when do I get my final isues of the magazine?

Still no 150 or 359 here in Cambridge. What are Paizo actually doing to ensure we get our magazines?

It seems like TPFG sent out the dungeons only for the UK, maybe they are afraid of a mob of customers in front of their door but feel safe on their "island"...at least you got Dungeon 149, crazy_cat.
I know you Paizonians are busy with sending out Pathfinder and I guess you have no handle against TPFG as they seem on the verge of bancruptcy, so neither threatening them nor withdrawing the money you already payed them would help but would just speed up their way to economic oblivion and the loss of the money and magazines entirely. If it was not for my support of and concerns for Paizo (I guess it would be economically quite hard for them to send out the magazines on their own...again), I would really consider to cancel my subscription now and try to get the last three magazines from the FLGS.

Belfur, concerned and out of Potions of Patience+3.

Great, now that my 8 weeks of holidays are over I get my Dungeon, "thx". Anyway Dungeon no. 149 arrived today in Belgium.

Just see it as a treat to make start work/school/university again easier. At least it seems that Dungeon starts to come over the channel...then there still is hope.

Maybe we are completely unfair toward TPFG, maybe they screwed it up and now the 80 year old resolute granny of one of the TPFG guys said...Son, you have to be faithful towards your customers! And now sits all alone adressing envelopes wrapping Dungeons and Dragons by hand, while her grand-sons are playing WoW...sorry, some strange images pop sometimes into my mind and humor is the best to stand this ;-)

Does anyone at Paizo know at what stage our issues are going to be declared lost. I've completely given up hope that I'm actually going to get them from TPFG. Will there be a set date when Paizo say we've waited long enough and send replacement issues.

It's ridiculous that we've actually paid for the issues (which means they are our property) and TPFG are witholding them.

Do you have a guarentee fom TPFG that they will send them.

i would hope that by 1st of september..

I got Dungeon 149 and Dragon 358 today. I'm also in Belgium.

Well, there's no doubt in my mind that we will never ever ever get any magazines from TPFG, so I can only concurr.

Given that magazines are clearly still arriving, we're still asking for your patience.

Nobody has yet received 150 or 359 - any news on them?

We allready have been VERY patienced !! Still no Dungeon Nr 149 in Germany !
I can not understand that anybody at Paizo can get a offical statement from TPFG !!
How do you know that the magazines are CLEARLY still arriving ?
At what rate do they ship the mags ? 10 or 20 a day just to keep you at paizo happy ? Not to even speak of Nr.150 ! How many delay is acceptabel?
After 10 weeks there should be a more in depth info and statement than just " be patienced ".

No 150, No 359, No Pathfinder PDF. Paizo are failing to deliver on all fronts at the moment.

Dungeon & Dragon:

Well, given that some of us have received DRAGON #358 at last, not all hope is lost.
I think Paizo can't do much more than to keep pressure on TPFG and I'm sure that's what they do.

PDF's:
I agree, it is a little dissapointing to feel like "the last one in a long row" but you have to remember that the combined Pathfinder and GameMastery Modules shipping is a whole new thing for Paizo, so I think we just should keep our patience and hope all the PDF's will arrive on time with Pathfinder #2 and U1.

Gary and Vic are still my heroes of the day for providing the combined shipping option, this will save us a lot of money over time.

I haven't got a combined shipping option - I'm only expecting Pathfinder.

Paizo announed on Wednesday they hoped to have the UK/European copies despatched teh next day. It's now Saturday - no magazines, no e-mail, no PDF and no firm news on when my subscription (placed more or less straight away when they announced the launch of teh new publication) will be fulfilled.

I'm not impressd at all.

Wohoo! Dungeon 149 arrived in Munich...but I think TPFG is really in over their heads, they sent with my adress but forgot my name, so the letter was left near the letterboxes (fortunately he is used to lots of people moving in an out without notice, so he leaves every delivery there for some days until it is clear that they are not claimed). So be careful that you do not miss your delivery due to this fact!

crazy_cat,

We are not perfect, as you're really fond of pointing out. We are working to improve our processes, but these things take more than, say, the four hours between your posts. We know you're upset, and we're sorry. We're doing what we can.

If you'd like to cancel your subscription, please let us know.

Vic, to be blunt, you are used to being patted on the back a lot for your customer service, and rightly so most of the time. But lately you have, frankly, made a bit of a c0ck-up of the distribution of your subscriptions to non-US customers. There are different reasons for that, most of us appreciate. But Paizo bears the ultimate responsibility for getting its product to its customers. There isn't much point getting sniffy and suggesting that your customers take a hike when we complain - you cannot take the plaudits and then get petulant when we make complaints. All customer complaints are legitimate - if we perceive bad service, that is what we have got. While the Pathfinder stuff may be more about miscommunication, the Place for Games situation is dire - magazines months late or not appearing in some cases - and people are rightly worried they have laid out money and won't get their stuff. A lot of faith in Paizo has been lost over the past few days because of this situation. You might be better off trying to get that back rather then making silly suggestions. Or don't you want our business outside the US?

Paizo Employee Chief Technical Officer

We're totally willing to take the criticism. We've said before that we're working on the problems, and with TPFG, the problem is a hard one to work on. Most of you have been patient, and are willing to listen when we say that we'll make it right. We appreciate that. We will take care of you.

But when we're taking the same criticism repeatedly from certain individuals every five or six hours, well, that's beyond useful, and does nothing to improve the situation. It to those individuals—not to you, Aubrey—that my previous post was directed.

Where I think Paizo have failed in this issue is the information department. While I'm not worried that I'll get my magazines, eventually, I would like to know what is happening with the communication with the Place for Games. You can't get them on the phone, or they're not answering their emails? The please post that here to keep us updated. They come with lame excuses or song and dance numbers? Post that as well. Any information is better than no information.

I recieved Dungeon 149 yesterday. Now I just have to cross my fingers and hope 150 will follow soon. Although honestly I'll probably have Pathfinder 1 before Dungeon 150...

Vic - my second post above was actually directed as a reply to Wawoozles post, just to clarify exactly what I'm waiting for (since this thread now encompasses 2 Dragon issues, 2 Dungeon issues, and 1 Pathfinder issue) I wanted to make it clear that I'm not caught up in any problem with combined shipping as I'm only waiting for Pathfinder 1 direct from Paizo, and for Dragon 359/Dungeon 150 from Paizo via TPFG (or Paizo, if replacment issues are required)

Otherwise I post here once a day, normally once I've checked the post, to update on progress (or lack of it).

As soon as I get my magazines I'll be making a nice post saying thankyou.

As Aubrey said above - Paizo customer service is normally very good, but this time you have seriously dropped the ball. You have/had 3 flagship subscription products - Dungeon, Dragon, Pathfinder - and all of your UK and European subscribers for all of these are caught in these problems.

Its frustrating we haven't got our magazines, and its even more frustrating that we have no idea when they're due to arrive, and its even worse when the information we're being given is non-existent, misleading, or wrong.

All we want to know is when will we get our magazines?

Thanks for the kind offer regarding my subscription - I had already considered that. My subscription continuing will depend on a number of factors - the content of Pathfinder, the quality of the PDFs, delivery times, the price Pathfinder sells for in LGSs in the UK and at other online retailers compared to the subscription price, and customer service from Paizo.

Some of those should be 'no-brainer' wins for Paizo - some I'm not so sure any more.

The Netherlands, received my Dungeon #149 yesterday

So, seeing as it was almost 2 months since #148 - how long until #150?

I must say, I'm a little disappointed that the Pathfinder #1 PDFs are not yet available to European subscribers (or maybe it's just me). I know that there's an order in which these things are being sent out, and that the Paizo team are working hard on doing just that, but I would have thought, given the problems we've been having with the last few magazines, that we might be prioritised in this area.

Hey Delericho:

We had a problem with our order processing program. It seized up on Thursday and wouldn't let us ship any orders which hadn't already been picked for shipping. Unfortunately, this included about half the international Pathfinder subscriptions. We had given Gary Teter Wednesday through today off because he had worked for three straight weekends and was in need of a break badly. Unfortunately, he is the only person who can fix the problem. Thus, we weren't able to get all the Pathfinders shipped like we wanted to. I'm sure Gary will fix the problem on Monday morning and Vic and I have promised that we will stay all night if we have to in order to get the remaining orders shipped and so everyone can have their PDF. I wish we could have had them out last week, but Murphy's Law struck and there is really nothing we can do about it until Monday. Trust me, if working this weekend would have gotten the orders shipped, we would have been in there working.

Thanks, Lisa, for the update. I'm sure this is a situation no one enjoys. I suppose Pathfinder has been a bit of a victim of its own success. Hopefully things can get moving tomorrow/next week.

Same thing here. Dungeon 149 finally arrived yesterday (Germany, small town in northern Bavaria), and the adress was incomplete (no name). You don't happen to have an umlaut character somewhere in your name...? Because I suspect that might be the reason why TPFG were unable to print mine...

So I guess there's still a chance I might get #150 too.

No, no umlaut in my name. I guess they just had to reduce employees to something like...1. And now they are totally overworked making mistakes.

Small town in northern bavaria? That's what, Franconia? I also come from there, maybe we even met each other before?

Pathfinder Maps Subscriber; Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Charter Superscriber

Dungeon 149 arrived on saturday in Hamburg - but I had the same problem , no name on the envelope only my adress.

If there is no name on the envelope, there's a big chance I won't get mine.. I live in a house with lots of flats, an envelope lying around without a name on it will never make it to me.

Can I expect to get a replacement shipped ASAP in this case? Or do I get told to wait another 2 months until Paizo finally deems it justified to ask for a replacement?

Shouldn't they have shipped WEEKS AGO ALREADY???

All the extra effort is very much appreciated. On occasion, I have been required to work very long hours and at weekends, and had my vacations postponed for months, so I know how much it sucks.

Again, thanks for your efforts in this matter.

Yep, I'm from Hammelburg, currently living near Wuerzburg (most of the time). It's highly unlikely we've met tho - I've been playing with the same group of friends for the last... ummm... ten years or so, and I've never been to a DND convention.

I'm in the same situation. Without name on the envelope, I don't know how it will delivered in the right mail box with all the different mailboxes there is here...
