Having good friends both here and where I live. Being able to shoulder the burden that I have and not flinch too much. Being able to continue my Paizo subscriptions despite cutting back costs.
Thanks everyone for listening to me b#&%~, moan, and complain. You can now pull the earplugs out. ~GRINS~
Edit - WOOT!!! Top of the page! ~grimaces~ Drat! I can't threadjack this thread. ~goes off to pout some more~

Listening to Vin Scully in the bottom of the 9th and having him let you listen to the crowd when the home team wins, without announcing that he will be quiet. This is in sharp contrast to modern announcers who say, "I will let the crowd tell the story," and then one second later continue to yammer inanities so that you can barely hear the crowd. Vin Scully not only knows what to say, but also knows when it is better to say nothing.

Damn, they finally hired Sebastian.
Alas poor Paizo...
True story. So, anyone who actually wants some "customer service" had best get their email in to Cosmo post-haste, because when I start, I guarantee the friendly days of "we'll provide a refund" and "sorry your book was banged up, here's a new copy signed by everyone at Paizo" are done.
Oh yes. A new dawn of customer service shall begin, and the words "fat f~+$ing chance" and "go pound sand" will be the response to any/all complaints...
Spoiler just in case it's needed:
The above is not true, despite the lead in. Paizo, or any sane, non-monopolistic business that actually wants to make money from customers, would never, ever, ever hire me for customer service. They probably found someone who doesn't hate other humans and will continue to provide amazing customer service. Or, they got heathansson to do it, and you'll get a lot of non-sequitor gibberish, instead of a torrent of insults and dismissive lies from me.

Torment him, her, or it? I am bewildered. Given that you clearly didn't explain that that prop from Little Shop of Horrors in the ground floor lobby isn't actually a prop at all - or mention the new 'red button' service you will be providing your charter subscribers with on their accounts - any torment would sadly not be worth the investment of time and effort.
One lousy day at the office, for someone like Sebastian, and Cosmo will be $500 better off, Sebastian will have been vastly cheered by the exclusive footage for which he will have paid, and Paizo will be looking to hire another customer service representative. ;)taig RPG Superstar 2012 |
HEY NOW.
No fair posting and then deleting, redacting, etc.
Good thing I saw them before anything happened to them. Now I just wonder if it is accurate.
I saw it, posted a response, saw that it was deleted, and figured that *I* wasn't going to be the one responsible for premature bean spilling.
If it is accurate, that would be very nice.

Well, it's time to break the silence.
I have accepted the position of Customer Service Representative for Paizo. Ever since my term as vice president ended, I've been trying to fill my days with talk show interviews, but I miss having an office to go every day.
I feel like my genial personality will be an asset to Paizo's customer service department. From now on, my crooked grin will be the friendly face of Paizo.
Now go f...
Wait a minute, Lisa said I can't use that word anymore.
Have a... nice... day...
Meh.

Is Alison McKenzie still working there?
Alison moved to part-time because she is going to school to learn the graphic side of computer game production. That was always the plan when she joined Paizo and we are excited that she is able to follow her dreams like this! But we couldn't leave Cosmo mostly on his own, thus the new hire...

Welcome Dick! We look forward to having your expertise in the customer service department. Btw, you will have to leave the shotgun at home as we are a no gun office. Can't have employees accidentally shot or something. Also, bad news, but our offices ARE visible on Google Earth and will remain so for all our fans to see.
But welcome indeed!
