Forget the pregenerated characters! When do we get the freakin' guns?

The hardcover.

Something I'd love to hear more about: the god that died and the followers/clerics that were left behind. I'd love to hear the orginizations they formed, what god some of them chose to worship instead, how nations that heavily worshiped that god were impacted, etc.

I really enjoy the background material of the world and the history. I would like to see more about the ancient civilizations and the history that shaped the current countries. The history of the world really helps me as a GM to build adventure ideas around and the sociological information helps to create dynamic PC's and NPC's. IMHO (it really is not that humble), the difference between a human fighter and a human fighter can usually be best built upon the cultural aspects of the characters, that and the big bleeping axe one of them swings.

Also of intrest are the politcal & economic structures of the countries and how they interact and trade with one another. What is the state of espionage in the world? Does Cheliax spy on other countries? Are other countries spying on Cheliax, etc. The background intrigue is very... well, eh, intriguing. We have been getting some wonderful descriptions of the dieties but I would also like to see more about the churches that follow the gods. What are the factions within a given religion and how do the churchs transend state lines?

While I do love the adventures that are created in the Gamemastery line, I would like to see more crunch after the fluff. As I stated, descriptions of the dieties are great and so is the culture we have seen so far, but I would like to eventual see some more PrC's that tie into the cultures. Give us the Merciless Accountants of Abadar or the Shoanti Tundra Hunters (be verwy quiet, I'm hunting tundra, hahaha).

The production quality has been great, with the exception of the small type in RotR. I am a graphic artist by trade, and using 2-pt. type is usually not a great idea. I am guessing that the Pathfinder Magnify Glass® should be showing up in my cart in day now.

But the most important thing I would like to see next would have to be PRPG Alpha 2 & 3, but that is a post for another string...

Liberty's Edge

I'm probably one of the rare few who doesn't care about the world setting much, other than how it provides more stuff for me to use in my own games. I always make my own stuff up as I go.

I'm always interested in good mechanics, and a system that's kind to people wanting to do their own thing. I see a lot of this in the PF system so far.

So what I want is classes, options, monsters, spells, feats, and more nuts and bolts to tinker with.

And should this be a multiple-choice poll?

How to contribute ideas - I've been waiting to contribute stuff ever since dragon went belly-up. I understand the RPG superstar contest took alot of resources and such. But can we at least get an expected date on when submissions will be accepted again? Rough guess? Anything?

KnightErrantJR wrote:

Heh - just before Dragon went away I had a whole article on magic spells designed to use in a campaign with guns, it was scheduled to be printed and everything, But when the license was pulled, it was pushed to the wayside to make room for more important matters.

Sharoth wrote:

All of the above. I doubt I will contribute more thatn my money, but I would like the option.

Also, What about a book of side adventures? Something that cna be added anywhere. I would pay extra for something like that.

Yes, I would like to see something of a book of side adventures. Each an adventure hook showcased in the Pathfinder campaign world. Just enough material to run a one-shot adventure and maybe some hints to a few secrets of Galorian.

Probably never. That's what RPG Superstar and the modules contest are for.

I can't find the button to vote, if there is one. : (

A: Deities and villains appendices.

The deities all kind've blend together to me currently (besides Lamashtu, who's pretty cool), so I'm excited about the Deities book coming in October. I hope it fleshes them, and their followers, out in an interesting way.

I'd also love to see a villains book, since a great setting needs great villains and evil organizations to thwart, frustrate, and throw the players against. "Lords of Darkness" was one of my very favorite 3e sourcebooks.

The button got taken down, I think.

In addition to Gods and Magic there's also a little bit about the gods in the Gazetteer and the forthcoming campaign setting hardcover.

Nope. there's still there in the left column. People frequently miss the poll options first time they're here. But the poll is technically still open.

The current vote total of 666 would seem to suggest a hidden entity's suggestion for an option not currently listed.

Yes, the deities blended together for me, too. But, that happens when they're just domains and portfolios. Lamashtu stood out right away as crazy-cool; historical and creepy, and an EVIL fertility goddess. Like lolth, but...much, much better.

Now, Zon-Kuthon stands out as the God of Metal (blacker than the blackest black, times infinity!). Sadly, that makes him funny to me, but still cool.

The loudest god in the Multiverse? ;)

So is he a fan of Manowar, and his clerics have to slay all listeners of "false metal"?

Your wish is our command.

Pathfinder #10 (I think... or 11?) contains a section on the Shoanti.

Sovereign Court

Well considering that I have exactly one PF right now, (although I did just order #1 and #3 on amazon, don't hate me, I had a gift card and otherwise wouldn't have been able to get any) and since it is #2 I have no clue as to when I'll be able to get #10 (I want to get all of the RotR before I get CotCT) I'll probably subcribe when the new adventure starts so I can get my players guide since they'll no longer be free to download (boo).

Player's Companion #3 will be about Osirion, which is our Egypt analogue. Vudra, which is our India analogue, gets mentioned in a lot of different places but I don't know when we'll actually put out a book about it.

I would definitely pay for some extra side adventures-- Quick things that could help my players make stronger connections to the cities and characters.

Soon dang it, (i appreciate that you've done egyptian culture, but honestly after chinese/japanese comes egyptian, and then after egyptian come mayan/aztec. Not a bad thing, but at this point those four are like the core four classes, they're great but you just want something new) I'd love to see them fleshed out. Anywho I really think you guys are doing great, Pathfinder 2 which is the first I own is great and I can't wait to run it (which i will when 1 and 3 come in) now if I can just get my playtest group back together. Anyone here near Deltona FL?

RPG Superstar 2009 Top 16

Im a map freak... well, really, a world-freak!

I love new settings. I actually buy new books and novels just for the settings even if I never play it

I must have created hundreds of different worlds and hundreds more of maps that keep been reworked, not unusually after I read something that sparks some ideas

So, what Id love to see is more about the setting (Ive gone crazy after reading the too-short description of Golarion's continents in the Gazeteer) and id like to see... Novels! Yes, Pathfinder novels! It would be excellent! I devoure books... Its part of my living, anyway ;)

So Pathfinder novels would be a great way of allowing players and gms to really enter the setting

Talking about Pathfinder... What about the society itself? I didnt see much (or enough?) about it yet. I do not own every book... unfortunatly dollars and shipping fees do not translate well to my currency, so Im limited to few books for now... But Id like to see more about what they do and how they do it.

Did I mention Pathfinder novels?

Gary Teter wrote:

I'd like to read more of the history of the setting. I downloaded the gazetteer last weekend and reading through it there was a lot of things that made no sense because I don't have the adventure paths. That way, it is - to me - an incomplete setting, which is very annoying.

Silver Crusade

I would like to know more about the world of Galoron. In particular I would like to know more about Tian Xia, Vudra, and Kelish and Arcadia.

It might be interesting to do a Maro Polo adventure path going over the Crown of the world, Or perhaps a "Christopher Columbus" adventure path, where they find the "Aztecs, and Incas" with intact empires not reeling from a plague. Perhaps Vasco De Gama could run into the "Chinese Treasure Fleet"

I know silly thoughts but there we are.

I for one would love to know where and when we might see a Psionics update for PFRPG! I know there is a poster that made a PF Psionics Update (which I may use for now after I review it), but I would love to see an official spread.

I agree...especially since there are hints at Golarion psionics in The Guide to Darkmoon Vale. (I won't say where, to avoid having to use spoilers.)

I also would like to know if the timeline has been developed for taking on Tian Xia (at least in map form).

I would like to know more about deities, their clerics, traditions, holy days, rites, and history. Like, when Dragon did those articles about the FR gods and stuff.

Silver Crusade

The Drow!!!

I'll be honest, I haven't been this excited for a new RPG or campaign setting in years. So my answer would have to come in the form of a question. "What part of Pathfinder wouldn't I want to know more about?" Basically, everything.

Sovereign Court

Sorry for resurrecting this thread, but I just got the Pathfinder Chronicles Campaign Setting and I'm giddy like a little girl.

Good job and kudos to everyone at Paizo! this is a masterpiece!

Now back to my regular broadcast of the documentary "Ed Greenwood and Elaine Cunningham: Pathfinder Authors?"

Hi!

I'd like a supplement about the other planets of the Golarion solar system, especially regarding the Venus and Mars equivalent (Castrovel and the other I don't remember its name...)

And some more info on Sovyrion, the First World, wich I think it could be tons of fun.

I would really like to see a Gazetteer. I am really amped by the way Paizo does business and the Pathfinder game is awesome! The folks in my game group have a "setting" we play in that we would love to "port" into the Pathfinder setting............ and multiple choice were always my favorite kinda tests!

The campaign; but specifically I like the unique flora/fauna in the various regions. (even stuff that is just an odd mountain lion for example.) I also like adventure seeds and lots of them.
