M Moon Elf Cleric/Divine Disciple

I just realized you don't know what I look like. My character is an average sized moon elf who does not seem to be remarkable in any way, outside of the air of blance and pride he carries himself in. If you look closely, he is also slightly pockmarked. He is wearing simple robes over his chain armor, and a worn backpack that seems almost empty. Orbiting around his head are three small geometric crystals, and a small box is tied to his forehead (I love bizzare and obvious magic items.)

Evil cultists will enter the hall in 2 rounds.

Your faith prohibits you from rebuking Kelemvorian clerics only turn undead.

However if that is a Turn check then it kills the front 4 guards while the other 8 are still advancing.

Initiative=13

On my initiative turn (whenever that happens), I attack the remaining guards with my greatsword.

To hit: 22, damage: 11, 20 if the undead are chaotic. Second attack 17, damage: 11, 16 if chaotic. Third attack 13, damage 5, 8 if chaotic.

Initiative: 21
On my turn I cast Chain Lightning.
81 points damage to the closest one and then 42 points of damage to 22 the rest of them (if there are less than 22 of them). All damage is Electricity. Booyah!

Sorry if my last post doesn't make sense. What I mean is 81 damage to the one closest to me and then 41 points damage to the rest of them, as long as there are 23 or fewer skeletons.

Right, that. Thank you.

M Human (undead) Gymnast-6 Logician-3 Fighter 2

Good. All the guards die.
As the last of the guards dies you hear a whistleing sound coming from above, this sound gets louder and louder. As this is happening the walls of the halls crumble as a giant boom rocks the shelter and you see a group of about 20 evil cultists each in groups of 2 and each group in what used to be a room where you see a large door shaped arch way in each, each has a swirling vortex in it like a strange PORTAL.
However as you see this, another boom rocks the structure tearing parts of cieling from the structure. Throught the holes in the cieling you can see a sea of pit fiends swarming down, so many that they block out the entire sky, and each are either preparing to cast fireball or the more imediate concern, METEOR SWARM.

m Human Druid 20

Londer pulls out his 2 scimitars fiends prepare to die!!!!!!!!!

Same initiative as before (13). Reflex save 18. Are the cultists close enough to attack? My bastard sword is still out.

I do feel silly, lets trade.

With a few gestures time begins to slow down for me.
Reflex 33. Natural 20! Time Stop, 4 rounds. I move towards the portal.

Freaky good idea!!!!! There are over 1 mill pit fiends each casting 4 meteors centered on you!? might want to leave!!!

I pull out a small forked metal rod and begin to gesture and speak arcane phrases. Soon another portal appears, as close to all of my comrades as possible. Then I jump through the portal that I just created, with the intended destination, the Forest of Amtar in mind. I arrive 53 miles of target.

[ooc]Plane Shift.[ooc]

Forest of Amtar???

If its a plane, make a kno. the planes check
If its on the material plane make a kno. geo check
Hint, one of the portals before you leads to the city of shade.

The description of the spell does not say that I must make any such check, I must merely roll 5d% and appear that many miles in a random direction (DM's choice as to where) from my destination.

M Human (undead) Gymnast-6 Logician-3 Fighter 2

Ohhhh sory, thought of gate again, You are transported to a desolate flat desert like place on an unknown layer of the Abyss or nine hells, cant tell which.

No! I control at least the general location to which I Plane Shift to. I chose the middle of the Amtar Forest. I arrive within 53 miles of the middle of the Amtar Forest.

So I take it we are now in a forest? If so, I say the following:

What has just occured? Our opponents have once again vanished. Mage, is this your doing?

Note: No-one told me their respective names.

"Finally, i am in a place where i can finally be!" Londer then closes his eyes remembering the knowledge of the forest that he has learned in his past. KNowledge Nature= 45

"Yes it is my doing. I brought us here so that we may avoid being incinerated by the pit fiends. I intend to teleport us closer to our destination. I chose this spot becuase it is far enough aay from an ocean that we would not appear over the open sea should my aim not be true."
I'll cast Greater Teleport To bring us as close to the City of Shade as I can. Being new to FR I don't know where it is. Could someone let me know where I should look?

M Human (undead) Gymnast-6 Logician-3 Fighter 2

You teleport from your location now to an area just outside of the sea of shade, the large dry lake of shadow stuff that lies just to the cities west. As you approach you see the great cleric of Kelemvor you met earlier.

Ah, I see you finaly arrived. Ok well I must leave soon but I want you to meet me once more, I have had another vission and I must travel south, and this time I want you with me.
Meet me in 24 hours at The Pig, the local pub.

M Human (undead) Gymnast-6 Logician-3 Fighter 2

The cleric leaves you to your business and disappears the second he finishes speaking. The city is 70 miles away, so I recommend getting a move on.
P.S. no teleporting or you'll reappear in the underdark or the middle of earth killing you instantly.

M Moon Elf Cleric/Divine Disciple

"If Kelemvor has given this man a vision, I suggest we investigate. It will be a great service to my god."

Without any delay, Nym starts out in the direction of the city.

"The gods have made this nature you care so much for. My god, Kelemvor, is who will judge you after you die. Do not worry, he will not judge based on your belief, but he is deserving of your respect."

I begin to cast another spell, soon a swirling vortex of energy appears and I step into the Teleportation effect...just kidding.

I seem uniterested in the talk of gods and I say "While I am fascinated by this talk of various gods and ideals of worship we have more pressing matters at hand. We must get to the tavern that the cleric mentioned for, although I do not trust him, he does present an interesting opportunity to test my arcane might against a worthy foe. I suggest that we begin. if no one has any objections I will cast Overland Flight which should get us there relativley quickly."

Sorry I still haven't gotten an updated character sheet in, its taking me a while but I'm almost done.

M Human (undead) Gymnast-6 Logician-3 Fighter 2

As you all fly over the land scape you feel a powerful sense of foreboding you look up and see black clouds crowding around you, preoccupied by the skies you don't notice that as you look sky ward you a sea of enemies, most week infantry below you marching on the city of shade, then all of a suden a fire ball knocks you from your lofty position into the crowd.
There are 150 kobold 3rd level fighters and 100 4th level fighters surrounding you. In the distance on a rocky out cropping is a lone figure holding a huge sward and glaring at you.
You fall into a valley between a foot hill and the beginning of the mountains near the city of shade. The lone figure is the evil clerics body guard/hit man who has been left with a small portion of the huge army to deal with you 4.
All of you take 17 points damage from the fall.

I'm pretty sure that Overland Flight doesn't end when I take damage. By the way there is someone in the General Discussion Forum with a thread labeled 'Yo' who has an epic level character that they want to play.

Assuming I'm still in the air I cast Greater Invisibility on myself and then fly in the direction of the leader.
If I'm on the ground then I cast Time Stop and prepare to cast another spell.

Kazir wrote:

Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeealy bad idea, fine your still in the air, however just as you are casting the leader's eyes flash with unimaginable anger and you feel suddenly feeble and helpless as he mentally snatches the spell out of the air (showing that he is an ocult slayer, a NPC with absolute hatred of arcane casting) and directs it straight back at you, making him invisible to you and placing you in the opposite of time stop, you are frozen and all others can move.

P.S. YO=one of my Alias's

So I'm paralyzed. Does that mean that I'm just hovering there or have I fallen to the ground?

You are simply locked in time, no one can attack you but neither can you assist your comrades.

Ick

I assume that I have not been frozen in time. If I am, however, none of the following happens.
But you could have figured that out.

Init=22

I attack the nearest foes with my basterd sword.1st: 35, 5 damage (10 if chaotic), 2nd: 22, 10 damage (16), 3rd: 24, 6 damage (17) On my next turn I attempt to dispel the effect holding Kazir in time. Concentration 18 to cast defensively, Dispel Magic check 21

M Human (undead) Gymnast-6 Logician-3 Fighter 2

Ok, 147 enemies remaining, don't worry about the army, they cant hurt you their weapons wouldn't even dent your armour. The leader is 150 yards away and is running toward you at a 300 feet a round rate.
