Grand Rapids, MI on 3/13/07. Customer Services had told me there was a delay in the shipping.

I got mine on 3-13. It arrived by pack mule smuggled across the northern boarder of California by a band of Kobold Blackmarketeers. Thankfully it arrived safe and sound before I finished Lightless Depts.

Kobold black marketers get me dragon bones to tell the future and the future is a TPK by City of Broken Idols

I just bought it in my FLGS and I am in Germany.

Got it on 10/03 in France. It was longer this time the the previous one. Don't know why, but it seems a general fact.
Anyway it was worth the wait, since it's a good issue.

Still haven't received mine... in Seattle.

Maybe I should just drive over to Bellevue and ask for one. It would take me about 20 minutes.

Keep in mind that we don't ship from the Seattle area. The magazines are printed and shipped off somewhere on the other side of the country somewhere. And no, I'm not sure where that place is off the top of my head.

But again... magazines get shipped at periodicals rate... which is also known as the WORST shipping rate. Everything else gets higher priority. Most junk mail, for example, gets higher priority shipping than magazines. That's how magazine companies can afford to send out tens of thousands of bulky products every month. And since it's pretty much the lowest priority, it takes them weeks to get where they're going. And that span of time is often going to be different every month.

I should've put a smiley on my post. I'm not upset, just... anxious. I think it's funny that I could drive to your office and back during my lunch hour, with time to chat, but people on the other side of the world are getting issues of Dungeon delivered weeks before me.

And yeah, junk mail... like clockwork. Same dang junk, every day of the week, right on schedule. Now there's a well-oiled machine.

FYI, I received mine in Seattle (technically Shoreline) last Wednesday (3/7). So either your local post office is particularly slow, or it's particularly busy delivering junk mail, or ... we won't discuss the third option.

Or someone may have stolen it. That's happened before with other stuff.

I've yet to receive any magazines that I ordered last month (thought it was last month's issue, website wasn't very clear on that), says it shipped on 3.6.07,been 11 days, ah now I know why I've never liked subscriptions, other then USPS treats them like dirt. I live in eastern Oregon (Ontario unfortunately), hearing California got there, makes me wonder if something isn't wrong....

hoping it comes soon, last couple months have been a hassle getting Dragon & Dungeon mags here, with my local spot switching distributors & having to go online (ebay in this case) for those issues, as having to buy back issues is a Major PiTA!!!

thank goodness for my local spot, not a game store per se but a card shop (ie wizard products) + he can get Paizo magazines as well, if not for him, I probably wouldn't even be in D&D or other stuff.

Maybe it's just me, but I get a little tired of the inevitable "When the heck am I going to receive my next issue?? So and so got theirs already, and I still haven't gotten mine!" posts every month.

Why is "You'll get it when you get it." so hard for people to understand? Here's a thought. Each day, when you get up in the morning, just PLAN on not receiving your magazine. Then, when you DO receive it, it'll be like a fun little surprise.

Now, if people are starting to talk about NEXT month's issue, and you still haven't gotten THIS months yet, THEN maybe it's time to start asking around.

Silver Crusade

have you got your issues yet?? If so then that's great, just when it's been almost 2 weeks since the site says that my issues have shipped, I just get ancy to get the issues, epically when the other paizo orders have come to quick.

would have never order if I would have know it was this month's issues, as I would rather support my local outlet, but the website was pretty vague in what you were getting (espically when they showed last month's covers when ordering)

Sorry Haldir (and others). My last post was overly harsh. Looking over my posting history, I find that I often sound meaner and more sarcastic than I normally like to think of myself.

Note to self: Stop before making a negative post. Think. Is it really necessary to bash this person? Do I have a valid point? More importantly, can I make that point in a different way, without possibly hurting someone's feelings?

My name is Steelhorse. I'm just trying to be a better person.

Why not go over to the Customer Service Board, and politely let them know that you still haven't received your issue.

On the other side of Paizo, I just had a "concern" with Issue 353 of Dragon - I never received it. I got Issues 252 and 254, but there was a gap in my reading schedule.

I e-mailed customer service at Paizo and had another shipped out within a week. Actually pretty good shipping time for a magazine.

Just to let everyone know, I've been subcribing to Dragon since around Issue 83, and this is the first time that ANYTHING has gone wrong with one of my magazines - including multiple moves and the publisher changing hands twice.

So, all in all, I can wait a little longer for my "fix".

Your welcome, I'm glad I could be of some help. :)

And, don't worry--Paizo's customer service rocks. And by rocks, I mean they utterly rock the casbah in a way that even the shariff thinks is groovey. ;)

Steelhorse,

no offense taken. Just when I hear someone overseas has received the issue before stateside, kinda got annoyed, as I love reading the new adventures & such.

(just an update) but I did receive my issue a couple days after posting, never fails post about it & it'll show up, ha ha (btw the issue I was waiting for was Dragon with the modron on the cover)

(now where is that Dungeon issue I got coming, ha ha)

well seems like it's gonna be a hassle for my "gameshop" to get magazines, so looks like I'll be subscribing afterall (thou wish I didn't have to........but what can you do if you want the mags)

On the upside, the subscription is a lot cheaper than buying the issues individually--it's $38.95 for a 12-month subscription as opposed to the $95.88 (not including tax) you'd pay for the 12 issues individually at your local store. Think about it--that's $56.93 you could be spending on other stuff. The only drawback is that you pay the $38.95 up front instead of $7.99 each month. Oh, and "subscriber's anxiety." ;)

You can all rest easy now...I got my magazine In the mail today lol.

My issue 144 showed up yesterday!

Anyone interested in a pool for when I receive issue 145? I would laugh about this if it was so freaking annoying.

Silver Crusade

The way the mail handles subscriptions for me is the reason why I don't like subscriptions, no matter the magazine, whether it's a bagged mag or even a simple catalog style magazine, there is always damage to it, thus I don't like subscriptions + since I've known my card shop/WOTC shop owner for so long he gives me a 30% off the prices at his store(compared to 10% off for others), so I was payin around 5.60 per issue + I would rather support him, but even he said that I'd be better off looking at other options for the magazines, if I wanted them on time.

He can order them it's just they'll be extremely late due to he only orders from them (his distributor) around once a month (ie doesn't hit the mag ship dates) & with only a couple people wanting game orders (myself included) each month.

I just like my mags in a mint condition I guess & my shop gives them in that condition.
