If the endless shots of groovy hippie chicks leaves you bored, skip ahead to the 3:00 mark.

That's sure a lot of groovy hippy chicks. I like the one at 2:11, super hot and scary looking, just the way I like 'em.

I'm more of a fan of 2:27. Of course, it's a moot point since I've already got one all to myself.

I know right? I felt even older when I got only one reply to my thread on the subject a couple of weeks ago.

*Gives Mothman a sad, slow fist bump*

Can't leave a mate hangin' in a one-post thread.

Yeah, Ive been on a Tori spree as well lately. I guess with the new disc out and the time of nostalgia/melancholy in the air...it's time for a happy phantom to go past the mission to visit the playboy mommy and the cornflake girl before winter comes and when you gonna make up your mind...things change, my dear.

Snow can wait when the Beekeeper’s flaxen hair blows in the wind without a safety net in Pandora’s Aquarium. Oh, Neil says hi by the way, he’s not the Red Baron, but he does write letters and burn his CDs, and I think it’s perfectly clear that he knows the power of orange knickers.

heres the trailer for her new one

and heres the first single...but in Oz, you may not have access to youtube.

heres the single on dailymotion???

Anyway, I am not sure she CAN do a straight classical piece...

Every track is based on a classical piece, but she took the basic riff/theme/??? and went off into her fairy-tinged world for inspiration. Im not a Tori-apologist, I cant get into many of her tracks. But when shes on, shes ON (for me). Saw her on her "Boys for Pele" tour in 96 (with School of Fish guitarist opening for her). I was a mess during Winter and Pretty Good Year, but at the end I left emotionally drained but feeling good.

Yeah, and not a lot of videos from him PERIOD. Unfortunately, most Richard Thompson fans are not the type to use YouTube. Namely, they're mostly old people these days.

I actually got to see RT in concert a few weeks ago, and my girlfriend and I (ages 19 and 24, respectively) were the youngest people in the building by at least 20 years. The show was amazing, though.

The Kinks--The Kink Kronikles

For my money, the third greatest of the British Invasion bands, better than The Who, The Yardbirds/Cream/Led Zeppelin, anyone you care to name (Jimi Hendrix? hmm.) The Kink Kronikles is a best-of/odds & sods collection of their material from '66-'70, so it misses a lot of their great early bashers, but makes up for it with all the lovely, overlooked material from the rest of the decade. For example:

The Village Green Preservation Society

I only got this the other day, and my initial reaction is that it isn't as good as Atomizer, but I'm going to listen to it a dozen more times before I pass judgment.

Bad Penny live

So, yeah, this album's the shiznit. I mean if you like this kind of thing, it's jaw-droppingly amazing.

I picked up the cd used for $6 and was wondering why it didn't sound as awesome as my copy of Atomizer on vinyl and then I looked on the back of the cd and it said: "the future belongs to the analog loyalists. f$+& digital."

Oh yeah. Duh.
