Anyway, I am not sure she CAN do a straight classical piece...
Every track is based on a classical piece, but she took the basic riff/theme/??? and went off into her fairy-tinged world for inspiration. Im not a Tori-apologist, I cant get into many of her tracks. But when shes on, shes ON (for me). Saw her on her "Boys for Pele" tour in 96 (with School of Fish guitarist opening for her). I was a mess during Winter and Pretty Good Year, but at the end I left emotionally drained but feeling good.

I actually got to see RT in concert a few weeks ago, and my girlfriend and I (ages 19 and 24, respectively) were the youngest people in the building by at least 20 years. The show was amazing, though.

I only got this the other day, and my initial reaction is that it isn't as good as Atomizer, but I'm going to listen to it a dozen more times before I pass judgment.
So, yeah, this album's the shiznit. I mean if you like this kind of thing, it's jaw-droppingly amazing.
I picked up the cd used for $6 and was wondering why it didn't sound as awesome as my copy of Atomizer on vinyl and then I looked on the back of the cd and it said: "the future belongs to the analog loyalists. f$+& digital."
Oh yeah. Duh.
