Oh, that's a good one. The video made me get all choked up.

The Kermit version does that to me.

A fellow Trance fan. Good to know there's at least one other on the website. I like to have Paul Van Dyk's VONYC.com radio site up when I spend time online.

Mika is playing on the radio... SOMEBODY MAKE IT STOP! PLEASE MAKE IT STOP!

On my ipod:

Hadoken
The Upsidedown
Kissy Sell Out remix of the Loose Cannons tune 'Girls in Hats'
Maximo Park
My friend gave me a cd with Guns n Roses vs Fisherspooner vs Monkey on it called 'Bruise your illusion' its a bootleg remix by some happy hardcore DJ! Some of the songs are 180 BPM!

The Leaving Song Pt. 2 by AFI. Not really hearing it, though, as I am reading/writing posts.

Brilliant!

Les McCann & Eddie Harris' unbelievably awesome jam, Compared to What.

I just got the soundtrack to the Alien vs Predator film for a couple of pounds (because it was in a smashed box and had been in the bargain bin of our local record shop for ages) -I like it lots and may use it in the Savage Tide! :)

The voices in my head. Unfortunately they are singing "Disco punk electro funk" by The Tigerpicks. Catchy, but so, so anoying after the first few times.

Bis

AFI. Really loud.

The distance filtered pounding bass of someones music across the road. It sounds like when you can hear your own heart beating after a good run. Weird.

So I'm going to put on the new Chemical Brothers.

The Nobodies by Marilyn Manson.

Edit: By a feat of prestadigitation, I have moved on to Dope Hat. Same artist.

By the way, you still haven't returned my Lamb of God CD.

'Chemistry of a Car Crash' by Shiny Toy Guns
'The Final Countdown (Europe cover)' by Children of Bodom
'The Auld Triangle' by the Pogues
'Typical' by Mute Math
'Binary Girl (So Logical)' by the Mathematicians*

*One of my friends from work managed to get the Mathematicians to perform for a party in his basement. They came in dressed as terrorists, and told everyone that they were holding the Mathematicians hostage until they could play a set.

Also, my friend Mike's band, Word to the Whys, finally got one of their songs on the radio.

Right now? Ice Age 2 is streaming from the TV for 1000th time as it's my 2-year-old son's favorite movie ("Scrat movie, Daddy!!!").

Otherwise, say, during naptime (my favorite time of the day) I'm usually cranking some Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Anthrax, or any number of other classic metal bands. Oh, and thanks to a different thread around hear I've started listening to the Fear the Boot RPG-related podcasts.

The only sounds I can hear right now are:

  • my own breathing
  • my own typing
  • my co-worker's breathing
  • the hum of my computer
  • the creak of my chair

Surreal, ain't it?

I've been listening to the new Serj Tankian single "The Unthinking Majority". If you like his work, it's really cool. Otherwise, you might not like it.

Also, I've been listening to:
-Paradise Lost by Symphony X

Hmm...Paizo needs umlauts for some of these band names.

"The Rime of the Ancient Mariner" by Iron Maiden - need I say more?

Due to faulty software, about a quarter of my music was deleted from my hard drive (about 500 songs). My laptop's in the shop, so I'm on a public access PC desktop.

F#++ technology.

FYI, if you're into music much at all you might like Last.fm - you download a plugin for your media player, and it collects your playlist history at your profile page. The site also generates charts of top artist, most-played tracks, and so forth. You can compare your musical tastes with what your friends are listening to, and the site suggests other users (called "Neighbours") whose taste in music is like your own.

That's a great song. Marilyn Manson put out a lot of music I like, including a Tainted Love cover that's pretty good.

As in the movie "The Fountain"? I really love that soundtrack. I'm going to use it as the background music for a certain witch that looks a lot like Lillith...

BSG Season 1 and the new White Stripes, which is AMAZING.

Yes. I was able to download a version of the soundtrack that is one continuous file, rather than a list of tracks. It's excellent. The movie was also extremely good. It's probably in my top five of all time.

Shut Me Up

Voxtrot- "Raised By Wolves" and "Mothers, Sisters, Daughters and Wives"
then a trip in the pointless painful nostalgia train:
Weezer- "Pinkerton" and the blue album.

Brings me right back to highschool. Probably not a good thing.
