Hi, everyone. The precedence has been set by the likes of Greg Vaughn and Nicolas Logue on these boards that shameless self-promotion and plugging is OK. In the spirit of self-aggrandizement, tooting one’s own horn, plugging yourself, etc., etc., ad infinitum, PLEASE BUY MY ADVENTURE here at the Piazo store or here from the Goodman Games website. You may notice that there are 2 different colors. The official product color is the old school Keep On the Borderlands purple (an extremely cool color, IMHO).
Again, buy it, buy it, buy it. You won’t regret it. And if you do... well... sorry.
*End of shameless plug*

Does it got rakastas?
Just jokin'.How 'bout a Cuh' Thew Lew?
Mmmm....rakastas
Seriously though, I don't have an adventure to sell. But if anyone wants to send me some money, I won't complain. In return, I'll send you a voucher for one free haircut, performed by yours truly. After all, I cut my own hair.

I know you added a lot to it since I first saw it and I'm looking forward to picking it up and seeing what you added. Unfortunately my friendly local gaming store hasn't gotten it in yet. Feh.

PS - what I saw from the original draft was really cool -- how much did you end up adding? The original was what, 13000 words?

Ha ha. She shot that troll in the butt with a lightning bolt.
That settles it--I'm buyin' it.
Heh. Yeah, that pic always cracks me up. I think it's supposed to be a scorching ray she's torching its green and warty little posterior with. The interior art is really cool, too, since it depicts the sample adventurers as kids.

Edit: It looks like Paizo has the updated image of the purple cover now, so scratch the comment about the 2 different colors.

Judging by the cover, I'd say it looks like an interesting adventure.
Care to explain how the adventure takes place in (or near) a gingerbread house? Or does my computer screen show lies?
Oh, man. Max, yerr a genius.
What, pray tell, other adventure, could you eat the miniature set piece when it's over and done with? None I tells ya!I defy anybody on this, even Sebastian! I ain't skeert a you, Lawyer boy! ;)

So... where'd Maxslasher's post disappear to? That's veerd.
Heathy, that's a super cool idea. Man, why didn't I think of that in the playtest?!
To answer Maxslasher's ethereal post... You'll have to buy the adventure for the details, but I can tell you that the adventure is all about a few fairy tale concepts that have gone horribly wrong. The candy cottage is merely one of them.

Ethereal post? I can still see it.
Oh well.
This sounds very cool. I may just have to get this. Is it available off of Amazon? I have a lot of credit on there from Christmas.
Absolutely! Right here. (That's a pretty good price, too!) Of course, I'm listed as Stephen Greeg. Grrr >:[
BTW, at the time I posted that ethereal comment, your post appeared in Heathey's as a quote, but nowhere else in this thread. Wierd, huh?MaxSlasher26 |

It is weird.
I wonder if Amazon's misspelling of your name and my post's brief stint in the afterlife were at all related.

Oh, and I'm definitely going to get a copy of this. It sounds and looks interesting, and a pre-written module might be an easier way to pick up on my campaign.
Well, it's intended for 7th - 9th level. It can be scaled down to 5th or 6th by following the suggestions in the module, but you could scale it all the way down to 1st, really, if you wanted to put that much work into it. Optimally, running something before that adventure allows you to set Escape... up a lot smoother. Once you get the product, you'll have a better idea of how you can make it work in your campaign. I ran a few things in my own campaign prior to playtesting it, which allowed me to plant some seeds that made for a really smooth transition into it.
At any rate, whenever you do get around to running it, I'd love to hear how it went.

Hey-
I thought I might ride on Steve's coattails here (and by happenstance, Nic and Rich) and plead shamelessly for everybody to buy my adventure!
My name is Rob Manning and you may know me from the off-topic 3- 5- and 7- word games, but I finally put together about 22000 words into a coherent whole and somebody put some nice pictures to go with them.
The swampy goodness can be found here and here. It's a mid-level mod with trogs and an isolated outpost, so it could possibly be dropped into the Savage Tide or Age of Worms with a little modification. Sorry, Heath, no "Kathooloos", just a tale harkening back to a 1st edition search-and-rescue with lizards, stirges, quicksand, a lonely rust monster, some trogs, and other slimy things that go bump in the night!

The polls prove that aggressive self promotion works (being an adventure writing genius helps a bit too), so feel no shame and plug away at full volume, baby.
