Anybody care to speculate when the next chapter in Maure Castle will be in print...

Maure Castle

I recall reading that not one, but TWO installments were expected to be submitted in March/April of 07, and I plead ignorance as to how long it takes to make the adventure ready for print after its initial submission. Ball park estimate, about when are we looking to have the Family Crypts or another level in our shiny mailboxes??? Mr. Jacobs, Mr. Kuntz, Anybody...

Mr. Jacobs, Mr. Kuntz... Anyone got any info???

Well, as the high-level adventures will be taken up by STAP for the next six issues (145-150), the first will probably be in 151, and the second somewhere round the start of the next AP. Just a guess.

Darn it, I think you're probably right. And I was hoping for more MC in the foreseeable future.

Maybe, if we ask really, really nicely (pretty please?) Mr. Jacobs will give us two high level adventures in one issue so we can have some more Maure :-) in the short term, rather than the long term?

Greg

P.S. Pretty, pretty please?!?!?

I heartily agree. I read in the Malcanthet article in Dragon that Maure Castle was slated as a yearly contribution, and that only one adventure from the dungeon would be available per year. I think that with the following this storyline has, however, Paizo should be publishing what they have when they have it; if Mr. Kuntz can get his adventures in faster than one per year, that is how often they should appear in Dungeon.

Maure-lovers everywhere demand it.

The main thing that sets the pace of Maure Castle levels is Rob; we can't print them until he writes them (he's very busy these days). So far, we've been doing one to coincide with the start of each new Adventure Path since Age of Worms. In any event, we don't have the next one officially on the schedule yet.

There was something said by RJK that he was due to hand in two new levels in the March/April timeframe of this year. Is that still on schedule? And if so, can we hope to see these two before the end of the year?

Thanks,
Greg

Anything "new" on the schedule yet, Mr. Jacobs???

Nothing yet. I'll certainly post here once there is news, though.

Thank you Mr. Jacobs. You rule.

some how I doubt we will see another one (at least not in Dungeon) at this point.

Yeah, Mr. Jacobs, please PLEASE let me know that although my great friends Dungeon and Dragon are about to breathe their last, I at least have a chance to get some more Maure from SOMEONE! I am so furious about this decision I can hardly articulate it, but I will be absolutely heartbroken if WotC's idiocy causes me to lose out on this amazing line of adventures. Please let us know.

Tear.

Alas... we don't have any more installments of Maure Castle scheduled for Dungeon. I can't say what Wizards of the Coast might have planned for the castle. The possibility of Paizo doing other licensed products from WotC is certainly still on the table, but for now, there's nothing to report.

Well, at least I'll see all of the WotC folk in hell. Thank you, James, for everything you and the rest of the Paizo staff have done for all of us geeks. I'm on board with the newness (if reluctantly).

My guess would be after GenCon....

Allan.
