I realize that with the soon to be converted "Mud Sorceror's Tomb" that the conversion of past Dungeon adventures won't be a common practice, but I don't think four times a year would be asking too much. There have been many great 2E Dungeon adventures over the years that could live again in 3.5 format.

I think a softbound book collecting 5 or so converted OD&D, 1E and 2E adventures would be a great product for Paizo to make.
New illustrations, color maps, and the adventures should range in levels.
But short of products like this, I'd chime in for every 4th issue or so offering a "blast from the past".

I really wouldn't want to see too many of these. I'm looking forward to Mud Sorcerer's Tomb, as it's so highly spoken of and I don't have it, but I don't want to see rehashes of lots of old stuff I do already have taking up space that would bring me new adventures. I would definately shell out money for a big hardcover book of them, though: "Best of Dungeon" with some of the classics updated. That would be sweet.

my incredibly large backlog of old dungeon magazines and I agree with this statement.

I have the old "Kingdom of the Ghouls" Dungeon, yet I still would like to see a 3.5 version:
1. It was just that good;
2. The ghouls can be done slightly differently to allow them character levels and the like - the revisions could take advantage of the wonderful mechanical possibilities 3. 5 opens up (the ghouls could now reflect their magic using heritage);
3. The original author is very much still around to take care of his "baby"; and
4. No reason not to expand - other planes, new dungeon levels, etc. Some expansions could make this into, say, a 3 issue extravaganza.

That is why I would vary the publishing and coversion of "classic" Dungeon adventures. I wouldn't do a conversion too often, but judging by fan votes and such ( which I think they did once to my knowledge ) it would be a nice thing to see 3 or 4 times a year.

I'd love to see a hardcover or CD compendium of past Dungeon Magazines updated to 3.5. Can you imagine a hardover of the first 10 inssues of Dungeon for example...all converted to 3.5 with some additional artwork? I might be wrong but I think it would sell like hotcakes

I don't understand the need for "conversions". Just run the adventure, and when the particular encounters occur, simply use an appropriate CR creature of the same type.
It's easy enough to upgrade or downgrade the individual monsters if they're off. Basically, you're "converting" as you go.
The real beauty of a good adventure is a story and encounter settings anyway, right? :)
Is there any chance that "Kingdom of the Ghouls"
by Wolfgang Baur would be given the 3.5 treatment anytime in
the pages of Dungeon ? One of the few underground adventures with
something other then Drow as opponents.

You can certianly convert Dungeon adventures. In fact I do almost nothing but conversions these days but you can't convert as you go unless you have Monte Cook's level of rules knowledge. Skills play to large a part in the game and one always needs DCs for this that and the next thing. Plus there are now new rules for things like poison and treasure etc.

I agree with the previous poster that a conversion shouldn't only focus on stat-blocks. A good conversion would make use of the new system elements that didn't exist back then (monsters with class levels, PrC's) and i wouldn't even mind if there'd be moderate changes to story, maps and generel options within the game. Even if i feel nostalgic about old modules too, i'd like to see some changes that make it even more existing from a nowaday point of view (similar to remakes of classic films that don't have drastic changes to the story, but add certain elements that make it even cooler).
I'd love to see a conversion here and there, maybe a whole classic-issue, like a Dungeon-equivalent to the january Dragon-issue. Regular conversions, like someone suggested, would be too much for my taste, because there are that many talented new writers out there like Pett, Vaughan, Louge and company, that i wouldn't want their adventures to be turned down in favor of old stuff.
