Are we going to see anything special for this breakthrough issue?

Specifically, what I had in mind was an update of one of the adventures in the Premire Issue, and an editorial sidebar to show just how far the game (and the writers, staff, printing processes, and everyone else involved) has come.

I second this! I would love to see a sequel or update to the one with the red dragon (name eludes me right now)... was it Into the Flame?

Anyway, this is an awesome idea, though I think the Dungeon staff has probably got something planned considering how far ahead they've been planning.

Out of curiosity, what issue # is this going to be?

If I have calculated correctly - # 138

Will they start the 3rd Adventure Path? I'm having a premonition--the 3rd Adventure Path will be a remake of the Slaver series--redone for 3.5 with cool new updates and enough changes that those who played the first series can play it again.

....the party starts off in the city of Highport looking at the burnt out old temple that is the suspected base of the slavers that have been raiding the Wild Coast...what was the red-haired dwarf chick's name on the cover of that module again?

Wouldn't that rock???? I think it would!!

Dungeon has never celebrated an anneversary before, but that will be changing this year. We've already got plans for the 20th anneversary issue; one of the things we'll be having in that one is "Dawn of a New Age," the last Age of Worms adventure. Which means that we're celebrating it in issue #135.

What else have we got planned for that issue? Well... that's still a secret! :-)

Well, personally I think Exag is a better location to start an Adventure Path, but I suppose I can "suffer" through "Dawn of a New Age."

Gotta second that one, even if it doesn't make the anniversary issue, that would be right up my alley.

Exag? Just what in the world are you talking about??? Hmmmmmm......(tapping my foot rapidly!)

Hmm... on closer examination, it would appear that we'll be celebrating the 20th anneversary of Dungeon in issue #138, not #135. Sometimes numbers are hard.

So, "Dawn of a New Age" in 135; 20th anniversary stuff in 138?

Yes.

Exag???? A very mysterious place indeed, at least in the recent Greyhawk literature I've seen. Let's see, an independent city-state in the Yatils next to Perrenland, if the maps have it right. I seem to recall an extremely brief reference to it in the Living Greyhawk gazetteer, but didn't provide enough to even get one's imagination going. Is there some other source of Exag lore that you know about, GGG, or are you just proposing this so someone will develop the place? Do you, by chance, have some speculative investments there? ;)

I have no clue what you are talking about!

"... and then the Great Pumpkin will rise out of the pumpink patch and give candy to all the player that have been nice this year!"

Maybe it'll just be a regular old Dungeon.

"... I got a rock!"

An article cut from the LGG, on Exag, penned by Erik:

"I have no recollection of such an event transpiring."

- Any number of House, Senate, or current White House Officials over the coming months and years regarding any number of current news topics.

Come on. They work for us. You can believe them....

I can honestly say that I did not write an article or adventure for Dungeon based on Erik's Exag work.

Exag -- so tantalizingly close to Tsojcanth! :)

Now Iggwilv: there would be such a great villain for an AP. Don't worry about WotC's bubbleheads -- I doubt they'll recognize it as Greyhawk material if you don't actually put the word 'Greyhawk' in the text.

Or just call her Vliwggi.

Surely it would rock. My players are just going through the original slavers series, and I love the setting.

The dwarf chicks name is Elwita, btw.

Renaming her in good ol´ Greyhawk fashion, eh ? :-))

The setup for the caverns are generic enough that you could really place them in any campaign world, anyway.

Twenty years is quite the landmark... I'll be looking forward to this issue with great excitement. ANd who knows, maybe I will have caught up reading my back issues by then too!
