Although I really liked the first two 'Burton' films, in my book, this is the best of the Batman movies. This one really gets down on the psychological reasons for Bruce Wayne to become Batman.
They left the 'comedy' (wisecracks and awful one-timers) behind and it turned into a very good action/drama. They could make more Batman movies of this type and I would gladly pay the price of a movie ticket to see one.
I recommend this movie to anyone (Batman fan or not). I give it a 4 out of 5.
