I knew that months ago... ;-)

My best of the series:

The Empire Strikes Back
Revenge of The Sith
Attack of The Clones

I would have to say that I am completely dissapointed with this film. The special effects were bland when compared to such films as the Highlander Series, any of 'The Minds Eye' series or even such TV shows as Threshold, Farscape, Firefly or any of the Star Treks.

The story was old and played out and almost inmsulting and quiet mediocre. Let us not mention the most disgusting fight sequence of the lot: Obi Wan Vs Anikan. I have seen them all and the fights between Luke and DV as well as the fight sequence between Yoda and Count Duku were ten times better. I am also not including any of the other fight sequences from any of the other non-SW films.

Oh and one final thing...Where was the innovations? The vasiline on the camera to hide the wheels in New Hope or any of the other things that made New Hope so spectacular. I would expect the team that put together the first three films together to care enough about the second three to push the Special Effects envelope.

It was okay. I put it in the middle of the pack for Star Wars movies, behind (Original) Empire and (Original) New Hope though scenes like "Nooooooo!" and "Oh and Qui Gon is one with the force so you have to be too, and here's a pamphlet on how to acomplish that in six easy lessons" really spoiled some of it for me. Still I must say that it was an improvement over the last flick, which looked to be continuing the downward turn from Return of the Jedi. I rate Attack of the Clones behind the Ewok movies in terms how good (not really the right word) a Star Wars movie it was and only slightly ahead of the Christmas special.

I always said I was the biggest Staw Wars fan in the galaxy, and even I can admit that it wasn't the BEST movie I've ever seen. But I really liked it, for the most part.

As for which film is the best, and second best... I tend to see the six as one big story. Sure, there are ups and downs, but all in all, the saga is great.

The Star Wars Saga is what I call good movie making: It's very exciting, visually stunning, no nude scenes, no unecessary violence (no bloody gore), no swearing; It's just good clean fun that everyone can enjoy.

I would have to say: "Good work Mr. Lucas and thank you!"

Fantastic movie! I now have Star Wars closure after 28 years! Watching it in the summer of '77 was one of the greatest movie experiences ever!

ROTS was just too fast and rushed. Lucas wrote himslf into a corner and jammed too much stuff in to wrap things up. Anyone who didn't watch the Clones animated series or read the Dark Horse comics got jippped on both Grievous and the Clone Wars.

I think the quintesstial Prequal was TPM. Sure the Gungans were slightly annoying, and Darth Maul (the best villian ever since Vader) gets taken out in the end. But, we learn so much more about Tatooine, the Jedi Order, and we have a classic Star War -- the technological forces of the Trade Federation with their Battle Droids and tanks facing off with the atlattle wielding, shield bearing, dinosaur herding Gungans.

Amen to that. "Star Wars: Clone Wars" should have been its own movie with Genndy and the crew still at the helm. Clone Wars out Star Wars-ed the most recent spate of Star Wars films.

I have to admit that I was disappointed with Revenge of the Sith. Lucas had really powerful themes that were developed in the originals that he could have explored (like Anakin/Vader's obsession with establishing order at any cost), but he chose to go with a hokey idea like Anakin killing the Jedi to keep Padme from dying, when in fact doing that caused her to die from a broken heart.... ack. What a shame.

Also, I felt like Revenge of the Sith - along with all the other new movies - used CG when real costumes or sets would have done the trick. It really bothered me that none of the clone troopers in either Attack of the Clones or Revenge of the Sith were real - I mean, they made costumes for stormtroopers in the originals, why not clone troopers?

Edit: Oh, and I thought that Palpatine was great until he actually became the Emperor - then he just got weird with all of that exaggerated acting.

To all...

"I find your lack of faith disturbing!"
