AP Hardcover Player Handouts

Shackled City Adventure Path

First I would like to say NICE JOB on the hardcover. From what I have seen so far it is a resounding success. I would request that the player handouts be made available as a PDF as I refuse to cut up my book. I notice at least one handouts is two sided. I could xerox it but printing is so much more convenient......exspecialy when a player forgets to bring it to the next session. Again thank you for your hard work.

I'll second that request.

Picked up my copy of Shackled City today (thanks to Keith for the pointers that helped me find a UK retailer) and I helpfully read on page 404 that I can download the handouts on this very website rather than ruin my book scanning pages or cutting them out.

I supect however that they are not available yet (see the post above) or if they are they are very well hidden.

Looking forward to d/l'ing them as soon as they are available (and whilst your at it downloadable maps would be handy too, although I can actually scan those without ruining my book so I'll let you off on those - except the PC's map of the Cauldron area which is handily only available on page 26 and will require some serious spine bending of my book in order to get a decent scan)

*whistles impatiently and taps his feet* downloads? please...

They should be available by tomorrow!

Actually, they're available now!

Get them here.

Those are great! Thanks. As soon as the game store gets my book in, I will be able to use these.

Outstanding - many thanks.

Any chance of a pdf version of the players map on page 26?

Pretty please..... :)

The Handouts are sensational! Much easier than scanning the maps etc ourselves.

I do have a request though. Is their a colour copy of Cauldron with all the buildings numbered and listed. On the giant Cauldron map that was given out in a Dungeon magazine in the past none of the buildings are labelled. While I can understand why some locations would not be labelled why can't the players know where Ghelves is, or the Church of St Cuthbert without me having to lock it up on my map and then try and find it on the large players map.

It would make it much easier just to have the DMs map available to print out also.

If this is already available somewhere please let me know.

WHOOPS!!!

I am absoluely amazed no one picked me up on my blaring error. I just recieved my copy of the Shackled City HC and I take out the maps and what do I see - an enlarged copy of Cauldron Map with all the key locations numbered and labelled. :D.

Just on the Hard Cover itself, I recieved it yesterday only 5 days after it was posted which I think is absolutely amazing considering that I live in Melbourne Australia! From just the brief flick I have had the maps are fantastic, the history thorough, the personality index clear, the cities key features interesting region exciting.

The portraits are also great particularly all the 'villians' who have been drawn without the obvious sneer, disfigurement etc that we ususally expect when seeing such pictures of 'bad guys'. This makes showing such portraits to the characters before they realise that these figures are infact villians now a viable option.

I am also a great fan of the rumours section and modifiers. Simple yet clever concept. The Evil Organisations background also ties in the overall plot well (something that was missing in the patchwork collection of adventures that were strung together intially and written on the hop) and the random encounters in the surrounding area is also a nice inclusion.

The funniest and most exciting thing of all is I haven't even read past the Introduction section yet!

Sensational work James, Erik and the rest at Paizo.

P.S. Did I mention the maps....
