graph paper background to From the Editor column

Dungeon Magazine General Discussion

Hey Erik---

While updating my Dungeon index of Greyhawk adventures, I noticed that images of your planning notes from the Age of Worms were incorporated as part of the background for several of your "From the Editor" columns.

You have some interesting little tidbits revealed there! Are they from your actual notes that we'll end up seeing later down the line, or are they red herrings and/or simple background "color"?

Allan.

Based on the notes on page 8 of 123, and the final text of the Wispering Cairn in 123, I'd say those notes accurately reflect the planning process.

Plus, well, I can testify that Erik always writes on graph paper and was in a meeting last week with a pen of that color. Plus, that's, well, his handwriting.

All of that stuff is directly scanned from my notebooks. Sometimes, the bits therein come to pass, other times perhaps not.

I have several of these notebooks, and scrawl in them like some sort of madperson.

Some sort of? That implies there is some doubt :P
