Wind Dukes?

If some one could provide me with pronunciation key for 'Aaqa' I would greatly appreciate it. TIA!

My two cents on fantasy world-pronunciation: whatever sounds the least silly to you and your players :)

I favor the a's sounding as they do in far, with the q sounding like a cross between k and qu (more k). The double-a stretches the syllable out slightly.

Agree.

Yep. "AH-CAW."

Nope. AAH-CAH. :)

Liberty's Edge

AAKKAAAH!
AAGUAAA!

HAHAHA!!! ;)

Sorry, I HAD TO DO this!

I usually say it AY-AH-KAH. This is to point out there are two 'A's in the word.

I think I will say it with a loud dramatic flourish, like:
(drumroll, drumroll, drumroll, drumroll, stop)
WINNDUKE...SUHV-AH...KUH!!
*dunt-dunt-dunnnnn* (symbol crash)

Scarab Sages

I opt for it sounding like 'Farquah', like in Shrek.

I agree. That's how I pronounce it.

I opt for it sounding like 'Aqua,' like the UK Pop sensation. :P

Me too, except I put a glottal stop in the middle of the double A. "Ah-aqua".

Like Ca-ca, without the first c.
