Alright, here's a question for those of you that have been subscribers since 3e first came out. I'm going to be running the Dying of the Light from issue 84 and wanted to know if anyone else had used the adventure and if they had any advice. The castle seems so big and the npcs so intelligent that I worry about bringing it all together.
Thanks,
Sebastian

Ha! I JUST NOW came across this looking up this adventure. I did, and it's awesome. It's also a great example of a fantasy horror game, as the timer it's one forces the PCs to barrel through. For me, the PCs started very bullish, but after a few big fights they'd expended many of their resources and started having to play real warily. The courtyard with the gorgon (Courtyard GORGON!? WTF?!) became a deathtrap.
Good times with this one.
Did you end up running it (all those years back)? How did it go?!
