Okay, either I'm really dense or I missed it somewhere. I checked to see if there was thread on it, but didn't see anything.
I know what the defiler points are, and I know how they can be turned into a defiler score. What is the mechanical point of the defiler score? Enough defiler points and your character becomes a t'liz, but what happens when you keep getting a higher defiler score. Once you convert your points into the score, your point total goes back to zero and your score goes up. What effect does this have, if any?
I also realize the defiler score is what is detected in the Detect Defiler spell. Other than being detected much more easily, there seems to little effect to having a high defiler score. Do you automatically become a t'liz when your score becomes 41 or higher?
What do you think?
