Margaret Weis

Books

With the first book in her new Dragonlane trilogy Amber and Ashes, I had to add her.

I am looking forward to how Mina will progress and seeing which god will come to power after what happened at the end of the War of Souls.

I also heard there was going to be a new Death Knight in the book.

Oh, I am sorry about the Untitled thread. I am not sure how that happened.

Sorry again.

Sovereign Court

had'nt read it yet,but i hope its not like The Alabaster staff(a forgotten realms novel)=mina is trying to create an undead god. i doubt even chemosh the god of the dead would approve.

I am reading Amber and Ashes right now and the book is the best to come out from WOC in a while . Weis is in top form. She does what no other fantasy writer does; breathes life into the characters and makes you really turn the page. There are some interesting plot turns in this to make you marvel at her ability to put her finger on what makes good fantasy.

Margeret Weis is good as a fantasy only author (no offense meant), but what do you think of Anne McCaffery and Andre Norton (I think I spelled her name right) as sci-fi and fantasy authors?

Weis and Hickman are by far the best writers of all fantasy, even bypassing Robert Jordan. I love the entire saga and have yet to read her new work but wish only that Hickman were to be involved with it's continuation. Nontheless I will be picking it up soon........

I have read Robert Jordan and I could not even read his first Wheel of Time book nor his horrible works of Conan. The only other authors I could say dare compete with Weis and Hickman are Salvatore, Howard, and Terry Brooks.

Is Margaret Weis the author of Seraphim? I have read that book and was absoulutely thrilled with it. I must get the others.
