Have a few but bake them, or get a bag of sweet potato fries to bake in the oven. :/
Sweet potato fries are even mostly healthy. I always make my own though. Just cut up a sweet potato into strips spray it like mad with olive oil cooking spray and bake at 400 or thereabouts for about 20 minutes or however long needed for preferred doneness. Add salt if you like. Is delicious. (But diets still suck)

Meh, sweet potato fries don't appeal. Baked fries are okay, but then I have a bag of fries in the freezer, calling to me. Bad.

Just...I've been desperately wanting french fries for the last 4 hours, and it's starting to be just a little ridiculous.

Agreed. French fries are delicious. Sweet potato chips are delicious. But for some reason, sweet potato fries are revolting.

You have to give in a little. Its truly good for your mental health and will help you to be successful in your dieting. If you continue to deny yourself its likely you will either go insane, or binge. :P

Get a small fry, like from Wendy's, with the sea salt.

(I am being very bad and eating a chicken bacon ranch sandwich. (But I ate cantaloupe, banana's, fat free yogurt, and a granola bar today) I will do some crunches or something to feel less guilty. :P)

I am making yummy open faced sandwiches tomorrow evening, and probably grabbing a meal out Saturday, so I'm resisting now for later. It's just...yeah, the french fries' siren song was annoying.

But I'm eating leftover chinese now, and it's good, and I'm not so hungry. Just needed to get home.

Bought some dill pickles for a savory snack too. nom nom nom.

Dill pickles, blech. I still can't stand the things.

Sovereign Court

Ah, that's too bad. I figure they're a pretty good snack. I'm not really into sweets, so all those diet sweets don't help me much. It's savory snack that are my downfall.

Fries, pizza, doritos.... Dangerous stuff. :)

My Chicken bacon ranch is full of awesome. :D OM NOM NOM NOM NOM!!!

I finished that book in a day. So good. I can't wait for the movie.

*hopes no one notices she responds to each post twice to bump post count*

I have yet to see any of the movies, are they good?

Angels and Demons was pretty good. Da Vinci Code was good too. Entertaining flicks all around. But, it's Tom Hanks. Even his bad movies are still kinda good.

Tom Hanks' hair is too distracting in those movies.

Crappy. (I'm a minion, just to clarify here, no licking of boots, that's gross) :)
Did I say boots? I meant boobs..... :P

Minion Boob Licker #2 reporting for duty. Not doing to bad. My buddy that is in town ran Muay Thai practice tonight and it was a workout. finished the night with 10 consecutive one minute rounds, no rest in between and I was begging for more, not even winded. Now I need to find something to eat.

Really? I have found a level of hatred for his books it is hard to explain. The writing style alone drive me to want of murder.

A much better book which reads like this, but instead involves Dracula - is The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it. I just picked up her second book, The Swan Thieves, at the close-out sale from Borders at 70% and I'll eventually get to it (probably sooner; most of my fiction books are further at the bottom of the hundreds of unread book pile versus non-fiction).

Dan Brown bugs me too, but in a different way then he does you. There's so much better 'alt history' books out there using the Da Vinci connection in comparison to this. But again, Brown's work is fiction....

Spoiler:
An unscrupulous hack, who sets up each chapter to give the answer to the question posed in the previous chapter only to further confuse the issue with another question to be answered in the following chapter. While at the same time not answering the overall mystery posed by the story. This is instead accomplished in a pitiful manner of putting his finger in the nose of the reader and railroading him to an ignorant conclusion based on spurious information applied in the many mind numbingly boring chapters one has to force oneself through to get to the end.

I would rather listen to Simcha Jacobovici who while he comes to many idiotic conclusions is sometimes entertaining in his falsehoods.

Spoiler:
I'm going to go on the opposite. Brown is a fiction author whereas Jacobovici is a journalist hack trying to let the gullible presume that he has a single ounce of credibility in the field of archaeology to even presume ... that those nails ... are authentic. It even angers me more to see James Cameron and Charles Pellegrino involved with this balderdash.

But enough...let us not dilute this any further here. :P
