Easy to read

I play a fair amount of PFS, and always prefer dice that are easily read from across the table. This die fits the bill perfectly. I only wish the "Paizo" face also had the number '20' printed on it. (****-)

Players Seem to Love It

I myself have not noticed any bias but many people have commented that these roll low. If it true that there is a bias low, my players (I am the GM) will likely REQUIRE I use this d20 for all combat.

All kidding aside, this is a big d20 that is easy to read and makes a satisfying clatter when it hits the table.

Great way to make a fandom statment for not much gold. We were playing 3.5 last night and the GM wanted to borrow a d20. He had to shake his head at my rebellion once he looked it over.

I don't think he rolled above a 15 where it rolls great for me. I might have to invest in one every year at paizocon now.

Good but the description needs help.

This is a good die, I like busting it out for critical rolls when I'm GMing or sometimes for init. The thing is it's GIANT. Why the description says "Lightweight" is beyond be it's easily 5 times the weight of a typical d20. Perhaps it's light for it's size but since it's so much bigger it hits the table with an authority that no other die in my arsenal has.

Attractive looking, yes, east to read, attractive coloring, all around great. Lightweight? No way. Somewhere tribes of halflings use these as slingstones.

This die hates me!

I bought this die at PaizoCon 2 and I don't think it has rolled a "20" the entire time. I can't even blame the rule system as invariably we are using PFRPG. It is a big pretty die though. I like the color and I like that it has the name of my favorite gaming company on one side.

Awesome!!!

They're great dice! I just got one, tried it out at my game, and got a total of 4 criticals!!! Amazing quality, and quite lucky.

So good!

These things roll so well I barely roll anything else anymore when DM'ing (I've been banned from rolling them while playing).

I got two of them and roll lots of 20-20's. Other than rolling great they are smooth, a great purple color, easy to read, and not overly heavy for their size (no loud "bangs" when they hit the table usually).

Get one while they last!

Heres a little story...

OK - purple is my favorite color - so - I ordered one, along with the pathfinder Beta hardcopy rules.

When it arived, I opened it up and was surprised at the Size. I had not realized how Large it was going to be.

So - I rolled it there on my desk - just as a test roll.

it was a "1"

I was saddened - but not one to be superstisous(sp?) I packed it away to take to the weekly game I play in.

Once at the game - and combat finally started - I pulled it out and rolled it on my players handbook.

It was a "1".

I was surprised - but quiet, as things were continuing briskly in the combat.

My turn camne up again - and I yet again rolled it.

It was a "1".

At this point - I stopped and told everyone about my 'test' roll when it arrived - and we laughed etc.

Then things became Clear.

This die has been programmed for use in 3.5/Pathfinder games Only.

See - we are playing a 4E game - and thats what I was using it for.

Someone suggested rolling it on the Pathfinder beta rules (which I had brought to pass around) and I did.

It was a '15' (or so - as I recall)

So - my review is based on the fact that - its Bound to do better in non-4E game, as well as the Great story I have for it.

Needless to say - I dont use that die for that game anymore.

A Better Way to Die

I bought this die for the novelty of the design, but all things considered (its size, its weight, its readability, its purpleness of HUE) it is an awesome product. So much, actually, that during its maiden game it got passed around the table for every darn d20 roll. Now I need to purchase four more unless I want to keep seizing it from hostile fellow gamers every round.
